Guys lets say you can buy this phone for like 4500. But let me give you this option. if you dont want to avail the Plan Phone with SUnCell under your HSBC card and you will just buy the phone at the store then you will only pay for the amount of the UNit which is 4500+ (just the Unit) you bother yourself how to have load for 2 years. but if you avail the HSBC promo it will cost you 8400 but it was divided for your 350 plan for two years. so in short you got the phone and you have load also unlike having the phone directly from the store but you will have problems with your load afterwards..

i think it is useless to avail of that phone m620 thru hsbc, its not free at all bcoz you'll be tied up for 2 years also. so why bother to avail of the hsbc card to get the phone while you can get it thru the sun outlet with the same condition w/o the hassle of acquiring an additional credit card.

350 would be the base of your plan of course if you go beyond your free 200 text to other networks and call other network additional charges will be billed. that's how a plan works. use excess of their 350 coverage additional charge and amount is subject to tax. hope this helps

regarding hsbc suncell offer,,what the fuss! if u dont like it dont, if u like it then go get it, stop with all u folks whining, we ol got the brains to think if what the other parties involve got to gain from it,,it is all about analyzing. thats what they call market strategy, and market strategies are not always for the benefit of the consumers. u as the consumers ya'll gotta do is think it over..And to think that i thought this review is all about the samsung m620??!!

vannek, 19 Sep 2008i also got my card and voucher to claim the phone but still until now iam thinking if i should... moreupon claiming the phone, 8,400 + 350 will be debited from your HSBC card. but you will pay the 8,400 for 2 years at 350 installment per month to HSBC and the 350 advance payment will be refunded to you after 2 years.

there are other free postpaid fons at sun cellular at Php350 a month...with lock in period of 24 months...but to think which one is better--HSBC's offer and straight from SC...i think ill go for the former..coz they offer not only the fon but the credit card itself,,,if u r a responsible cardholder with good credit history, then the CC they offer is way too better for purchasing items..with 0% on installment plan...but just be a responsible borrower and ull never go wrong.....

hi guys...the way i understood it, the fon in the market costs around 5K-6K but HSBC is taking Php8,400 ( 350 x 24 months)at 0% interest from ur cc..u know why its 0%? coz their interest is already included in that Php8,400...do u think business establishments like banks will really give u something for free?? they are not hoax but they are definitely trying to hide the real %%% as much as they can otherwise there will be no business existing if they wont gain a thing from what they are selling / promoting...but definitely HSBC is better than some banks offering CC with no freebies...what do u think?

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2008It's not Hoax. Why buy from Gray Market, which doesn't come with official warranty. The truth ... moreyes i agree. it is not a hoax. in the first place you are the one to make the final decision whether to avail the promo or not. docs still needed to be submitted to HSBC but not so 'many' compared to a regular postpaid plan application.

Why buy from Gray Market, which doesn't come with official warranty. The truth in HSBC's promo is that you can apply for a postpaid line without the necessary Financial Documents.

irene, 17 Sep 2008is the phone locked to Sun cellular only? and is anyone here unlocked this fone to accomodate ... moreyup it will be locked to sun for 1 year covering the 1 year fon warranty period. after that you can already have it open line for other networks. but still the SIM will be good for 2 years, with an option to renew it or not.
the good thing is that, if u renew it after 2 years sun will offer you a new fon..just like other postpaid plans...isn't it great..

after a long forethought i've got my M620 plan 350. i haven't explore all the features yet but so far fon is great, camera is also good..with 250 free SMS to other network every month this is okay.
FYI..if you will claim the fon during sat & sun you will wait for 4-5 hours processing, so the earlier you go to sun shop the better..
