have had the pixon for 2 months now and its great, dont know why people go on about the battery life because mine is very reasonable and i use my phone all the time.
But in saying that is it that much of a hastle to put your phone on charge at the end of the day
Anonymous, 17 Jan 2009can someone tell me how to use gps for this phone?thz..Far as I know, Samsung say they are still testing that and it will do so soon. If you use the phone to check compatible phones, it say more or less just what I said about the Pixon.
Zoe, 22 Jan 2009Hi all, I'm having a slight problem here and couldn't seemed to have any way to solve it. ... moreWhen viewing the text message, use the volume keys to go up or down in font size - but the manual does NOT mention this and I took a while to do find that out too
jonesdude, 18 Jan 2009Copy the .jar to your memory card. Doesn't matter where, your choice, I have Applications Fold... moreHow to install jar games on pixon? where I can find free jar games for pixon?
Anna, 21 Jan 2009If i send a text i don't see the picture of the smiley, where can i turn it on??The phone has no pictures of smileys, but cannot seen any prob with that. You can only change the size of SMS you receive, by using the volume keys. Fot me the big font size is great, so better than Nokia small font
What's the "big deal" about battery life? I had the Pixon for about three weeks, I get about 3 days use (fairly heavy) out of the battery. I bought a spare battery and have no problems. It's a GREAT phone, and well worth the hiccup of having to charge/change the battery every few days.
GET A LIFE!!
can u guys change network setting from 3G --> 2.5G. i think this will increase the battery life.
hmm, just don't understand. it was in the review that battery life was poor and still u guys go ahead to get it. no offence.
i sold my nokia 5800 due to poor camera and lack of customization after 2 weeks. looking fwd to pixon but since poor battery life, no thks NOW :(
I have this phone for about 3 weeks now and I actually 'thought' it was good. Sad thing is, the only thing good about it is the camera. If you really want a 8mpx buy the Innov8 or wait for something else. What's the point of having a camera-phone if the battery doesn't last long enough to take a few pics and make a couple calls. Also, you only have the ONE theme which Samsung has already been using for the past couple of years. As far as visual customization goes, the only thing that you can change is the wallpaper/widgets.
If you really think that the battery lasts for 2 days or more (moderate usage) you are definitely in denial.
This phone gets real old, real fast.
Anonymous, 22 Jan 2009to pixon owners; i heard the battery life is really, really, really, really, really, really... moreI have recently got a Pixon and I am disappointed with the battery life. Even with little use it needs charging every night or I risk it running out the next day...am just trying to ascertain whether this is normal.
