Samsung Techwin and Samsung Electro-Mechanic, two of the Samsung Electronic subsidiaries, have already developed 8 megapixel camera modules with 3x optical zoom.
The module has an autofocus performance improved by 57%, a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor and lens that support F2.85.
A Samsung Electro-Mechanic official unveiled that the first handset to come with 8 megapixel and 3x optical zoom will be released in early 2009.
Even more, Samsung manufacture is also working on a 12 megapixel camera module that will be smaller than the 8 megapixel one.

what is OS ? and my heart really broke just now!. i love this phone!, but it does not have wifi!. i guess i will just have to look for another piece! :(

Tanuki, 17 Oct 2008It's a proprietary OS, so this phone is not a smartphone...M8800 is a very nice phone,moreover u said something about the phone not being a smart phone,brthr i strongly agree with what u said,because asuming it was, it will be a hotcape 4 every one.
