I have this device since 2013. I tried to go to Google Play, but it says that I can't access on it. I don't know what reason it is, but maybe the account has expired or deleted, or an unknown reason.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2024Did you know you can install KitKat through Cyanogenmod and use somewhat modern apps on there?I have this still running till now just for music .. cyanogenmod KitKat in this device is the most functional. The lollipop version rom runs in it too but memory use is full just system apps.

Hi all P1000 user it . I have this tab since 2011 but i didnt use so often. And been back in the box for many years, when 202020 lockdown i check it and charge and it still ok. But the problem is the wifi difficult to conect to a wifi internet hotspot again, now cant conect, slot sim also cant detect my sim card again. But only use the tab for simple design and music player due the battery last so long. Too bad, since beginning 2024 it can turn on seems the power buton mendelep/or maybe the power button shaking unstable. Sometime to charge also difficult to conect again ( charger still normal and looks like new) cos i use the charger for another electronic device also can charge.
Is it easy or will this tab easy beeing repaired again? Worthed or not. Cos i see the second price under 40 usd in my country cos it not suppport 4G ( my country most of 3G gsm has turn off already) but i just want to use and conect to my wifi and use for simple video player for kids again. Will that easy or expensive to repaired? Thanks. I am living in Indonesia

ram only 512gb ( not even 1gb)
just to enjoy music and movie insert by memory card, sound still great,
battery still good in this 2024,
even camera still good capture.
I really enjoy it.

In 2030, it's a common smartphone in old version.
This is because phones keep growing to the same size as old tablets...
And normal phones are 6.5 inches. This tab is 7 inch.

It seems like this tablet generated a lot of attention when it was released
I just finished reading the entire 3312 posts of opinion.
I still have that tablet in my drawer that still runs the out of the box Froyo Android.

Without rooting and upgrading to Android v.6.x the problem seems to be and after resetting, that Google Play does not install nor is anywhere to be found when original system is restored. The old app "Market" is no longer supported. Is there a way around this?
