Any one no if you can upgrade the ram beacsue thats one thing thats lets yab down. LCd tad slow to respons at time. Running multi application is good but ram very poor .

To the people that own a SGT. Can you call your contacts like with a normal phone. When you receive a call, can you quickly put in headphones and answer the call?

Frank, 08 Nov 2010iPad 3G/WIFI is a right product to go for. User Experience and high quality of applications be... moreOk, go on and bring your ipad to the public:a bus a train, to a meeting etc. Its awkward and hilarious to see such a big device on the go.
I pad is for home use and with many restrictions (apple) Besides that its a great device.
Galaxy tab is portable, has high resolution beautufull screen and its very fast. It can to whatever ipad can and with out restrictions
PS ita has flash too!!

This device is amazing but it's too damn expensive.
I can't believe it costs the same as an iPad.
Reasons why it should costs less than the iPad:
1) Android is free. It's developed by Google for the Open Handset Alliance. iOS is proprietary OS which costs more.
2) Samsung is trying to get a foothold on the tablet PC market (of w/c Apple/HTC/MOto dominate). Why the overpricing?
3)THe iPad got a larger screen with better viewing angles.Also, Ipad got a better battery.

iPad 3G/WIFI is a right product to go for. User Experience and high quality of applications beside it is fast . All above make the best and only tablet choice close to a PC in the market. Invest your money in something that you are not going to regret after a while.

ok... need some critical advise from current owners of this tablet, is it really worth it??? is it a good alternative for mobile computing? I need to know 'caused I just booked one for $700 and I received a SMS message that my unit is ready for pick up on 11th November. Hoping to hear from you guys... Ciao!

it so expensive here in the phillippines 16GB cost 34,999php, 32GB cost 42,999php... samsung overpriced for tablet phone.. so many tablet phone in the market less price like i-robot 12,000php, cherrymobile superion 19,999php same spec and features of overpricing samsung tablet phone..

A good effort from Samsung; better than the Dell Streak. You have to ask though: Is it needed? The screen size is of course bigger than regular touch phones, but as a phone it's a ridiculous size.
