Apple has 300k apps and most of them are repeats ie a full version and a lite version.
Android are now looking at 100k apps a rising.
Considering Android hasnt been around as long as Apple I'd say Apple have something to worry about!
Again this is coming from a diehard Apple user.
Mega impressed with how Android is putting itself upthere and competing!
Side note, slightly envious you have one! Enjoy!

officially price samsung phillippines is 34,999php.. if you want lower tablet go to cherry mobile superion 19,999php same size,same spec and features..

The Samsung Tab is now available on a plan with OPTUS in Australia..I hear it's $59.95 a month and you get upto 20gb!Tablet no extra cost

Samsung P1000 Galaxy can run Java applications ( J2ME ) but Apple iPad can't . This is an important factor and because of that I prefer Galaxy

Most screens are good, it's just that some are better. A marked difference when you compare this to the GalaxyS, but the 7 inch screen is really very good and vibrant. The price I paid in Malaysia was about USD815 with the current exchange rate. Only one mobile phone operator is selling it, and as such the price is stable at the moment. Initial sales is good for such a device, but nowhere like the Ipad which was flying off the shelves like red hot cakes.

Does it has chinese language support just as in most phones?

Contacted Samsung Middle East & Africa about the (availability of this Tab & about the new Tab GT-P1010), and they replied the following:
( Good day valued customer!
The Galaxy Tab has been released during the Gitex Season in UAE but
there is no official information yet when will it be released on other
GCC countries.
Regarding the GT-P1010, we are not sure yet if this will be released.
The specifications are not official disclosed yet by the Technical
Development Team. )
