As long as Nokia die hard fan boys are around, no matter who produces what, Nokia will be the champ as far as they are concerned. N 900, no doubt,is good but definitely not in the league of IPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy I 9000 S and HTC Desire. People who have used any of these phones will never ever go back to Nokia. Nonetheless, it will be your choice at the end of the day and I will not step on your toes with my views. Have a nice day.

till when will it be released? it says on the specifications that expect available release September, 2010, and until now theres still no sign, even unboxing videos.

This is another example of spoonfeeding the technology to us!
And many very excited, but about what?
3mp camera?
TFT screen?
Come on! People should realize that all this corporations holding back on us. 5-8MP camera with HD is available for long long time!
There is no excuse not to include it.
Same goes for screen tech, battery etc.
Samsung is capable to to produce twice as good unit not just today but yesterday and 6 months ago.
So when you get this, remember you get an already outdated model!

BTW
This phone has no "earspeaker" so you cant call with it without a headset. So dont worry about looking goofy with this thing next to your ear ;)
Just dont walk around with a bluetooth headset all day, cuz that is way more goofylooking.
The device was amazing to watch movies on (i had to film myself since there was no movies on it, but the widescreen effect with 7" was great!
One negative feature which is not mentioned is that the stereo speakers are on the bottom. I would prefer them being on the top and bottom so that you can watch a movie in stereo without an earpiece. But all in all a great "phone".
Release in Norway is the 21st of october :)

Upscaled nicely! Didnt have it long enough to test any other games though..

I really like this phone, will definitely use it via Bluetooth earpiece, as it might look goof if I use it without one . Otherwise personally it meets nearly my requirement (except camera, but no issues)I need in a phone

A few months ago started a competition on which is known as the Smartphone Championship. There were total 16 contestants, and today we have the winner. Now the champion, the winner of the Smartphone Championship is the Nokia N900. Nokia N900 got some great support from its fans from the first day, and in the final, Nokia N900 beats Samsung Galaxy S by a very great margin. Nokia N900 got 5,985 votes, and the Galaxy S got 2,734 votes, and the total is 8,719 votes

Only one thing negative is the 3 Megapixels camera, why not the same as for HTC EVO 4G of 8 Megapixels! And between a 3 and a 8 the cost would be a few $15. difference!
