rem, 01 May 2012hello!! can somebody help me with my galaxy tab p1000.. the situation is.. i decided to charge... morecould maybe "showing" that it is charging but not charging..I have a problem with my GT where it constantly lights up, then dims like it normally does if left alone. then lights up again..its not irritating as I turn it over. what is irritating is that when you wnt to use it, the battery is dead cuz of the screen being on constantly.

hi, i have been using my Samsung Gallaxy tab for the past 2 weeks and i have this strange button which indicates "Sorry! the application Samsung Home (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again and want to find how this is curtailed. thanks

Mine was 50% then I charged it (because I am going out to add more percent) then it turns to 0 percent, what I did is Restarting the device by pressing the ON button for 10-15 seconds, then Thank God it helps, everytime P1000 went that way , I always do the same..it works for mine, hope thats works for you too.
If still under warranty send it to samsung centre in you region for further diagnosis. Thanks

1.How do I upgrade from firmware version Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.... moreyou kn upgrade through samsung's programme (KIES),download it from sasmung.com, install it and connect the tablet to the pc through usb, kies will tell you if there is a firmware update.
and yes the update availability depends on the region, but i blieve gingerbread has been out for all regions for a while now!

I noticed your post and the only way to remove the app is by rooting it! (google "how to root samsung galaxy tab P1000") and install root explorer for android. Then, use root explorer to delete the app found in the app folder in data folder! (/data/app) hopef i helped!!

If you have Galaxy tab 620 then please tell your imei number.I know a shortcut where you can use it to go for inbuilt battery options...!

The charger is cheap...verify it first on another device. The battery is about 25 Euros so it's ok. If the procesor is dammaged...I think you shoul buy another tablet. Had the same problem after a year and I changed the battery! I was lucky. You shoul go to a service with it! It seeme the battery resistance is weird...so could be the procesr...

rem, 01 May 2012same problem here.. do you have options ?Happened with me as well, i just did a hard reset..hold the volume up button and start the device. this might/will result in data loss though so back-up is critical.

hello!! can somebody help me with my galaxy tab p1000.. the situation is.. i decided to charge my tab although it was still on it's 41% battery, i plugged in the usb wall charger after a 20 minutes it's gone up to 43 percent... out of the blue i unplugged it but as soon as i unplug the charger the tab turned off automatically, i was not very much keen with what happened so i just turned it on again but i was surprised when i saw the battery icon that the battery percentage went down to 0%... since it's then i immediately plug the charger and just left the device for two hours and surprised again that after 2 hours the percentage went up only 1%.. i let the device again for 2 more hours but 0nly 3 % were added.. i unplugged the charger same thing happen it turned off and went again to 1 percent of battery charge... and nine hours passed the percentage of the battery is only 2 percent.. can someone help figure this out.. thank you in advance..

My friend got this tab oversea and there was some APS that preinstalled on it that he does not want (the Qu'ran - religious text of Islam). The reg. Uninstaller/manager does not permit him to uninstall it, what can he do ????
