fellow users, any idea if the samsung tab can download android market-place? it on has the slide market-place which is very limited in comparison..........

roky, 20 Mar 2011why this tab cant up date to android 3 .. honey comb Honeycomb update may either come from Samsung itself of XDA Developers. Android developers say honeycomb doesnt need any special hardware configuration. Should work on normal 1Gh processor as in Galaxy tab 7".

I got this tab, its now a month, excellent device, i was an iphone user, but i found samsung galaxy tab is too good, very smooth functioning. better browsing experience, excellent camera quality, specially outdoor pics, no complains. 100% satisfied. I recommend this to everyone, who wish to buy one.

I've always been a sceptic about tablets and the iPad didn't move me at all but when I got this for free, it was surprisingly awesome, I was blown away by what it has to offer. For the first time I'm able to take my own photos with big screen. Browsing experience is very pleasant, with full Flash experience. Battery power is amazing. I did not need to use any SIM card for this, I activated my Nexus One portable wifi hotspot and voila, surfed Tab on it. It also works well on apps that requires Root access. (Yes you can take screenshots with this baby!) The size is just comfortable for my hands and work bag. Reading e-book is like reading a real novel-sized book! Absolutely great buy!

Can anyone help witha WiFi problem?
When I try to connect via my wi-fi the Tab hangs and I get the same message - 'obtaining IP adress' - but it never connects.
From what I have read elsewhere this is due to a fault with the Samsung software.
The Tab remembers the last IP address it connected to and tries to use that. If the IP is different (even a different server with your provider), then it hangs because it can't find it.
The only solution is a Hard Reset which is unacceptable.
Does anyone know the solution.

hi there i just have my samsung galaxy tab p1000 few days agao as a birthday gift! it was so amazing and really love it!! my tab runs up to 14 hours only (take note: this is for normal usage only) can anyone recommend a nice apps and games? thanks in advance :)
btw anyone here using vodafone sim? as im having a hard time connecting to their free access to facebook etc.. anyone know how to do it? i already call the customer seervice to activate my MMS but still cant access.. thanks and Godbless

akki, 19 Mar 2011dude were did u get that games ?HD games can be found at web. Google and seach "acked HD games for galaxy tab" or open ISOHUNT.com, search GAMELOFT, then down load the file (probably 500MB) follow the instructions and enjoy

its the best phone i ever had. apple is a crap. dont waste your money on hard-to-operate devices like apple devices
with galaxy tab you can be more flexible and it will give your money's worth

i've been use this galaxy tab and i love it so much..
fast internet surf, good quality, user friendly..
can make call, use it as modem, read ebook etc..
it is very enjoyable..

Hi Guys, Yesterday i bought this device, i found it very smooth and very user friendly. The most important think i liked about this tab is that we can use sim to access internet as compared to other devices where we can acccess internet only via wifi/wlan or 3g. will post more info if possible about the device after few days of use...:)
