Very good mobile for executives,light weight,ear piece doesnot get hot after few mins
1.Problem is, it has a feeble ring tone not auditable when you are in road traffic, thou the ring tones are sweet they might hv given a option for a very auditable ringtone.
2.The headphone slot has a rubber closer fixed to phone itself,but the battery charger slot doesn't have one and the present closer might get lost very easliy.
3.Thou the keypad gets locked automatically after few mins,they might have provided a option to local manually also like in nokia models.
4.If you compare with sony some gl 6 or 5(older mode;)there are predifined groups,and i can assign different ringtones for different groups,but in this model its is resiticted to oly 5 users.
Though i have not used other model of Samsung,this model didn't have features of other companies older models,which are already in market.

I bought this phone recently. Its performance is very good. The Blue screen is so beautiful. I have checked all the features of this phone. All are working with good performance. But some features like ring tones will be suddenly hanged if we access those features very quickly; Of course, if we access somewhat slowly they are working nicely. In user manual they published that there are possibility to compose three melodies, but we can compose two only. I think that is not a big problem. Games are not interested. The main thing is the ring tone is very low. We cannot hear the ring when we are in crowdy or in a cinema theatre. Any one wants to but it, first check the ring tone volume is satisfied or not to them. Battery condition is also good. I bought this phone Rs.5000/- with bill and warranty. At this rate the features that the phone offered is sufficient I think. If any one wants a minimum good featured phone with a simple cost, buy this one. Read the manual carefully before using the features. If have any problems with the phone, please mail me. I shall try to solve the problem.

ohh yah mine is whenever i use my simcard with another phone , putting simcard back into my phone it always ask me for phone lock, how can i unlock it

I have few comments to share about R220
1. The maximum ring volume is very low compared to other phones.
2. You can't send a Ring tone to others.
3. In Vibrate + Ring mode, it doesn't do both simultaneously. It first Virbrates 3 times and then starts ringing.
4. You can compose only 2 tones.
5. No Voice dialing.

had very bad experience with in warnty period,twicw serviced with in waranty with no results.Keeps dialling with out connection & disconnects & switches off & switching on its own.This hapens even ithe strong signal areas with battery fully chargedmso for no solution from service centre & I am keeping it as a show piece rather can be used as a torch as it has a very good blue back light.
