i am using this mobile for the past two weeks and my review about this cool gadget is-:
pros-:
1) excellent touch response
2) superb audio quality through headset as well as speakers
3) touchwizz ui rocks
4) descent inteernet speed
5) good camera compared to other fixed focus 3mp snappers
6) 3.2" display
7) descent battery backup.im getting 2.5 to 3 days backup with normal usage
8) looking exceptionally good and it resembles galaxy.s from its back panel view with dotted back
9) slim and sleek
10) low price
cons-:
1) low display resolution it cant even play videos of vga size
2) low build quality its cheap plasticy look
3)very slow in its operations
4)lack of autofocus and led flash in camera
5)poor video recording
6) limited availability of applications
conclusion-: yes this phone satisfies every one for its price as compared to other touchscreen phones of this price.but as per me i was willing to pay even 9500rs if this phone was provided with an autofocus ,led flash and at least vga videorecording for the camera.and a display resolution of atleast 320*480

Music is quite decent in the headphone. Did anyone find a better headset for this phone pls tell? Another thing that i would like to appreciate is its performance, much better than nokia s60 but why is its performance ranking so less, common all wave users vote for it.

i just bought this phone 2 hours ago and it is fantastic. the only problem is that it lacks "back" button. you need to click on "end call" to go back to the main screen.

Yes this phone has a document reader i.e. it can read word, excel, powerpoint (also 2007 versions) and pdf very easily and you can also zoom (pinch zoom) it for better readability without any distortion. But you can not edit any document.

I was also confused between 5230 and wave 525 but after I saw a live demo of it (wave) I have decided to buy wave 525 because of its features at 7600/- and sound output from its speakers (external sound is not at all good in Nokia 5230). I would recommend you to see live demo of both and decide.

It is quite decent but if you are a music lover then you need to buy a separate headphone of Philips.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2010i agree with you except 1 advantage and 1 disadvantage the adv is the sound quality it's real... morethanks a lot I didn't know that I can retrieve the whole mail till you told me, really thank you. it's really helpful, but as a note it just shows the unread mails in you account which may be a disadvatage for some people.
