thanks sandy 4 giving us ur review abt this...well here i m looking to buy this one but only confusion is bada os as there is nt much apps and games,themes 4 this handset,bt m using nokia symbian 4m past three years,as u knw there is lot of apps 4 symbian s60 series,bt wht abt bada os..hw abt comparing it to bada..i hope samsung 525 is nt boring...it has all the hardware features like big screen,gps,wifi, bt wht abt softwares...? How abt comparing it with nokia's os???

Pls. do not compare Wave 525 and galaxy 3 in terms of operating system as they are quite different. Android is very popular and Bada is just arrived.
For me, it is depend on your budget Wave 525 (7600) and Galaxy 3 (almost 12000/-). If you have very tight budget of not more that 8000/- then Wave 525 is very good option but if you have budget of 12000/- then I would recommend you Galaxy 3. Also see me brief review of Wave 525.

You can not remove default icons but there is an option in settings that it will arrange icons as per your usage.

How is the ringt... moreI have bought Samsung Wave 525 at 7600/- for my brother and would like to give a brief Review:
Pros:
1. very Good Screen Clarity
2. Very responsive touch screen (Touch 3.0)
3. Cool Operating System, quite fast (Bada 1.1)
4. Very Good Audio Output in Headset and Speaker (Lot of presets and 5.1 surround sound is just awesome)
5. Samsung Apps is also very nice, you can install lot of application
6. Video quality is good (but only 240 x 320)
7. Samsung Kies (PC Sync Software) is also good bcoz it has almost everything like Samsung Apps, Video Converter, Backup Management, Firmware Update, etc.
8. Document Reader (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
9. Multi-Touch Screen (Pinch zoom)
10. Good Music library
Cons:
1. Screen resolution (only 240 x 320) but it is not noticeable if you haven't use Galaxy & Wave
2. No Camera flash
I am using this handset since last 3 days and able to find this much only. But in future will try other things like Internet (GPRS & Wi-Fi), Samsung Apps on GPRS, etc. and will post it.
This handset is really value for money (7600/-) bcoz it has lot of features and sound quality in 5.1 channel is simply amazing.

No idea abt bada os, since i'm not familiar.
Spent whole 2weeks wit s5253, no problems so far, in the future too, i presume:)
They provide apps like tumbling dice, parachute dive, cricket, pacman, jewel tetris.
Right now 7 of my homescreens(10 is the max no. of homescreens) are filled wit apps downloaded from samsungapps:)

I have both Nokia X6 and this one. Both have capacitive touch. But Nokia is more...more sensitive than this one.But always mind the price.In this context it is sure value for money.

It works better than the mmediocre models of nokia(5233/5230/5235).
Only -ve in s5253 is the picture clarity due to 256k colors. But i consider it tolerable. Worth to buy.
Never hangs like a crappy phone, i ve 5gb occupied of my 8gb card.

Yes you can multitask.
I didn't know about Bada either - but decided it would beat any propriety firmware, because it'll be updated for a range of phones, rather than just one :)
This phone runs TouchWiz 3.0, so it's quite nice.
