anto, 24 Nov 2011i bought this phone yesterday.... i dont know how to start internet... use packet data option... moreI have the same problem as yours. the "g" or "e" symbol should appear even if you haven't installed the mms/gprs settings of your network. try to change to other networks like globe, smart or sun if your from the ph. in my case, i change from smart to globe and the "e" symbol appears. sadly,there must be something wrong with this phone because it choose what network to receive gprs.

samsung wave 525 is very nice have a good look in desin and very comportable with applications and unique features and looking very silm in style please dont stop this samsung wave 5253 in future right now i want to buy this samsung wave 525 in january so please dont spot this samsung touch phone in market.
