Current users please answer my questions regarding wave 525:-
1)Does the orientation automatically switches from portrait to landscape(when we hold phone in landscape mode) while watching videos or images ?
2)Can we download themes for Wave525 ?
3) it is easy to configure and use Wi-Fi ?
4)how is the display of the phone ?
5) if anybody has bought it recently whats the current market price ?

Airis Potlatche14, 05 Jul 2011my phone got watered and I dried it up for 3 days. now, i can use the touch screen and the har... morehey post ur problem in samsung wave forum .. thousands of people are there... u will get the soln within a day.. and i think u should give a little bit time more .. minimum 7 days u should be the mobile to dry it up!!!!! until and unless it get fully dry ... ur prob will not be solve!!!!

AnonD-12915, 05 Jul 2011corby 2 or wave525 which is good value for money...both looks same..corby2 has bigger screen t... morewave 525 is much much much more better than that bloody corby one!!!! corby or corby 2 is just an normal set whereas wave 525 is a smartphone... lots of features than corby!!!!! 100 mb internal memory . no probs in java file installation .. a a great collection of bada application in samsungwave forum... if any probs u have u will get hundreds of reply there.... i think wave 525 is should be the only choice...

Corby II does not have GPS and the camera resolution is very impressive when compared to the Wave 525. The Corby II SMS text entry does not have QWERTY touch pad. This makes text entry a bit difficult. The Wave 525 supports QWERTY touch pad and hence testing is easier. The CORBY II does not have auto screen rotate which is available in Wave 525. This also makes text entry much more easier on the Wave 525.
The touch response for the CORBY II is slow while the Wave 525 has an immediate response to touch and the screen changes are very smooth and quick.
The Menu for the Wave 525 is more colourful and beautiful. The CORBY II menu looks very dull to me.
As Wave 525 has BADA OS, there are a wide variety of applications that can be downloaded and used. CORBY II does not have much applications to install in it.
The Wave II has a more professional look and much better performance. There are many more difference, but the major few are listed above.
The price difference is very marginal. The Wave 525 is just slightly costlier than the CORBY II, but the feature list and the performance of the WAVE 525 is far supreme and the price difference can be easily overlooked for these added features.

corby 2 or wave525 which is good value for money...both looks same..corby2 has bigger screen than wave bt lackin camera.bt pic quality is is better than wave 2..its a fact..rest of the qualitis are same...plz suggest d gud one..

my phone got watered and I dried it up for 3 days. now, i can use the touch screen and the hard keys again except for the menu button, the middle part, it's not responding...what do you think its cause???hope someone could help me...i really love this phone!!!thanks guys!!:P

1. i have installed one apps from samsung apps store now i want to uninstall it , how to do delete that application.
2. is it necessary to past a screen guard over the display ? or i can use it normally .. will be the touch sensitive remain same after paste the screen guard over the display ?
3. how to operate gps in this mobile.

the day before yesterday i bought samsung wave 525 mobile...!!!!!! overall features are nice... the message type is qwerty in both landscape and portrait.. that is the thing i don't like ...... there is no normal mode for typing!!!! battery backup, wifi, is overall okay!!! samsung apps is not too good!!! i have installed ucbrowser that is better than opera mini.. java apps we can load in this mobile easily..touch sensitive is good. its true that when we open media player , other process became slow. sound is low, but headphn sound is good. camera quality is good in daylight but not in night. facebook apps orkut and others are good.

hi, how do i log out the facebook application in my wave 525, i also have a hard time using it because there are no "notifications" to be clicked . . can somebody offer a help?
