Feature wise comments:
1) Battery Life: On 2G its really great but On 3G network battery drains like air from a punctured balloon. Also, for GPRS access battery is not ideal.
2) Camera: Picture quality is good. But images get distorted later on with time. I have not been able to use front camera yet.
3) Network: Signal capturing is poor. While selecting the network mode from 2G to 3G or vise versa, phone get restarted automatically and it keeps on doing so between availability and non-availability of signal.
However, it has been experienced that it happens for few service provider like Vodafone, Airtel.
4) Email: Its really irritating to have such email program in your phone which starts downloading the emails from the oldest one. Suppose you have 990 emails in your inbox and you want to retrieve the newest one you have to wait untill it finishes downloading the complete 990 mails. Moreover, you cannot have more than 500 emails at a time that leaves you deleting the emails once it reaches the number 500. Disgusting :-(
Games: This is really interesting. It says on specification that this phone is loaded with few Java based games but what it didn't tell you that you can access most of features only after you pay some money.
Java: You can download most of applications/games but you cannot run it. Most of the times it says application cannot run on your mobile. Java error....
CONCLUSION: Phone is good if you want your phone to be used only for texting, talking....I am still using it....It suffice my requirement...
Please any one tell me about Skype video in this cell phon .Is it good result or not..
Stand-by only 45 hrs (2G)
Talking-time 3 hrs
Complete discharge within less than 48 hrs which is far from the specifications.

Maximum size of SD-card is 16GB, _NOT_ 32! Tried and failed with 32GB card in my S5610. Samsung Norway confirmed that 16GB is the biggest you can go.

Nice, elegant "Classic" mobile phone with all usual features for non-smartphones. FM-radio, music player, easy and quick sms-typing with the T9 keyboard. Simple browser facilities (no wi-fi). Only the screen quality is disappointing compared to my old Sony Erichsson mobile phone which also had a TFT screen. The poor viewing quality e.g. when looking at photos on the screen seems strange when the phone at the same time has a good 5 megapixel camera and good photo editing facilities. Conclusion: Good classical phone if you can accept a lower quality screen. Relevant alternative could be the Nokia Asha which seems to have a better screen.
Don't buy this phone. it restarts every time. did not supports apps, less msg memory and lots of shortcomings.
I use S5610 for 1 year. It used to restart during listenig to the radio. It has happened many times to me.
