I think region wise they have set the phone value.
Try to bargain, May be you will get any dealer who will give you discount. but don't expect much as it would be max Rs 500...;)

You can put the shutter off... When You on the camera.. go to settings where we can choose the different shutter sounds... One option is available to make it OFF. try & if you get any problem just do let me know.
Does anyone knows what languages are supported with firmware S8000XWIF6 ?
To all fellow S8000 Jet users: do you notice that when you record a video, and it saves it, for example as video #0008 and you then delete it, the next video you take is saved as #0009? Does this mean that the previous video is not deleted and is saved in the memory still? If anyone can help or clarify this please reply! Thanks.

I would like to know, if you flashed you samsung jet to the newest fireware S8000XEIG2, when a neware fireware is out can i automatic update the fireware in NPS or do i have to flash the phone again?

yes in terms of Firmware updates, only S8000 firmware is available on net & on Samsung's official site.

Camera's STILL CAPTURE quality is very nice..
I am satisfied with the Video Capture quality as well...;)
Sound OUTPUT for Speakerphone is LOUD & Very Gud.
For Earphone, If you use the one which we get with the phone..Realy SUCKS!!
Use a good earphone like of Philips or of SONY... You will feel the difference.
Features are awesome... For me my phone dream come true!!

In Europe, it is S8003. In China, it is S8000C, In Hong Kong, it is S8000H

Without Route66, you cannot use nagvigation. You can only locate the longitude, latitude and height of your location by GPS satellite.
