to wave users:
have you experienced browsing through the net with more than one tab and received a message that it needs to close some widgets due to lack of free memory? i saw this happening in one review i watched. thanks.
smat, 20 Jun 2010I have both the Wave and the Omnia HD and I would say the browsing experience on the Omnia HD ... morewhat?
I have also Omnia HD and Wave!
Wave is speeder overall than omnia HD!
Browser from Omnia HD support flash, what are you talk about???
I have last HX v5 firmware on omnia HD and with Turbo HD mode is very slow than Wave!
I use OPERA, yes, it's fast, but not enough like Wave browser!
Iffy, 20 Jun 2010Could someone tell me what the web browser is like compared to other phones such as iphone or ... moreI have both the Wave and the Omnia HD and I would say the browsing experience on the Omnia HD with the latest firmware is slightly better than the Wave due to the bigger screen. But the Wave does support flash and Omnia HD doesn't so you really appreciate this when browsing the web. To be honest there is nothing really lacking with the browser itself its just that if you are used to using a phone with a larger screen it might take you a while to get used to the Wave's one. All in all the Wave's browser does the job well as its pretty fast and stable.
Iffy, 20 Jun 2010Could someone tell me what the web browser is like compared to other phones such as iphone or ... moreit's THE BEST browser overall for phone!
support flash and speed is better than any iphone!
Could someone tell me what the web browser is like compared to other phones such as iphone or omnia hd. I really want this phone but need a good web browser on my phones. Thanks

I dropped my wave yesterday on to a concrete floor and luckily it landed on the plastic bottom. It survived without a mark but it was a couple of seconds of pure panic. If it had a metal bottom I don't think my wave would have survived in one piece. build quality top notch as far as I'm concerned.
Chris, 19 Jun 2010uuhhmm.. i've tried to find a review of Samsung Wave at www.mobile-review.com but did not find... moreYes, the review is in russian, its there, but I was talking about forum discussions, not the actual review. I read a ton of forums so I am not sure where I read it, if I find the exact post I will come back and post it here.
for the filipinos their in phil.if youre really craving for this wave we actually have it here in uae so if you do have a relatives leaving or working here in uae why dont you ask them to buy it from here that's about more or less 23k in peso.
For the Route 66 navigation, anyone knows if I can get my actual location without setting my device to the online mode?

If the phone is dropped you wonder whether this bottom part will survive however I would recommend getting a case which would prevent any potential accidents. You could have a similar issue with many phones so nothing is perfect. Concerning the Bada OS I have absolutely no issues with it, its rock solid and on my unit at least I've never experienced a crash or any bugs at all and its the smoothest OS I have ever used on a phone.Hope this answers your question.

I know its made of a good material and has a fast cpu, but that still doesnt mean it isnt buggy or built well.
It was an honest question, and a question I asked to hear from you guys if there have been any issues.
