Anonymous, 19 Jun 2010i think you have to email samsung phils. about this.. probably the basic your talking about... moreThanks, but Chris is right, it's actually the Social Hub only. I hope. Anyway, I don't know anything about the 8 gb version. Been trying to ask about it but no one can give me a concrete answer. Most probably it's just part of Samsung's blueprint of the Wave. In the end, they just decided to scrap the 8gb version and push through with the 2 gb only. Well, as long as the phone can handle a 32 gb, then we wouldn't have a problem. We just need to keep our fingers crossed that whatever Wave unit will arrive here, it will be the best standalone phone we expected after all the wait.
Chris, 19 Jun 2010i don't know any premium and basic versions of wave.. dapat na clarify mo siya maigi sa sales ... moreYeah, I guess that's only the Social Hub she's talking about. Well, we really just need to wait for it to arrive. Whew, this is really such a painstaking wait....
Mark, 19 Jun 2010Hi Guys, I am reading many reports of buggy software in the wave and poor build quality. What ... moreYes if you can give us the link, I might believe in you.

The very first time I heard that from you. I'm you're from other brand.
This is 1Ghz processor you know that?
Also, the body is made of aluminum metal, you know that?
Hi Guys, I am reading many reports of buggy software in the wave and poor build quality. What do you think?
Afzal, 19 Jun 2010what is BADA software in it BADA is a new smartphone platform, or new OS to others, made by Samsung for their phones like the wave and the new upcoming phones.. Older Samsung phones do not support BADA though..
Anonymous, 19 Jun 2010may be thats the basic version of the wave.. LOLlol you mean the dummy ones? how much? 3 for 500? lol..
the June 18 shipments of wave was NOT the real units, it was the DUMMY units.. Dummy units will be shipped to dealers and stores for 1 week.. the shipment of the real units was on June 25..
So wave will be on all stores around July..
Ojiro3, 19 Jun 2010I've been continuously checking Vmall, Megamall, SM Fairview and other malls near our place bu... morei don't know any premium and basic versions of wave.. dapat na clarify mo siya maigi sa sales rep.. maybe she was referring to the Basic and Premium Social Hub, where in the Premium social hub has a lot of features in software.. Also, maybe she was about the Galaxy S and Wave, or Wave and Wave 2, let's wait next week to confirm all this...
anyway if anyone of you want's to confirm this from Samsung itself, here is their contacts..
you can call them or email them.. i've emailed them a couple of times already and i'm tired of their answers..

probably the basic your talking about is the 2gb version..
where as the premium version is the 8gb..
I don't know about these;
Is 3G Network is need to send and receive MMS?
I don't know how to create a profile(based in the manual).
I've been continuously checking Vmall, Megamall, SM Fairview and other malls near our place but still, to no avail. All I just see now is that most stores already have the dummy phone display of the Wave. Apparently, most of them have no idea when the phone will be released and if there are some who claim of its availability, iba iba sila ng sinasabi. But since the dummy is already out, it won't be long for the real model to come out also.
I do not want to add to the frustration but there was one Samsung rep from one of the authorized dealers who said that there will be two versions of the Wave. One is the Basic Wave and the other is the Premium Wave. According to her, there is a significant difference between the two phones. Syempre nawindang ako kasi nga that was the first time I've heard about this. Alam ko may differences sa FW, but not this one. Sabi pa niya, mauuna raw darating yung Basic, at medyo mededelay pa yung Premium version. So ibig sabihin, pag lumabas ang 1st shipment ng Wave sa 'tin, medyo hindi pa siya yung version na malamang e nakikita natin sa mga reviews at mga hands on vids. Hay, has anyone heard about this? I hope this is just another misconception because I don't want to wait another gazillion years after the first batch of Wave hits the stores. Haay... But still, we need to wait before it really hits our shores...
Jazme, 19 Jun 2010Thats a nice price. Can it support 16 or 32GB memory card?it has 32GB support . now ,'he' is using it with an 8GB card and the phone handles it well
