also, i don't want to do overclocking with my phones, there are certain reasons why Nokia set it to it's respective frequencies..
Wave still rules.. :)

I don't care the specs of your N8....
The point is, your N8 comes late as the Wave has performed well already.
You can see in the voting results, normally votes will go down rapidly just after the phone is released.
Unfortunately for you, Samsung Wave fans and including few haters lift the votes from 8.7(released time) to 9.1(now).
but what i love about Nokia N8 is it's radical theme song.. hehehe.. i even download it..

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2010Yehey... N8 wins because it's bulky and plastic... I envy their themes though...
Nokia N8 is slimmest 12 mp camera phone. There are tons of feature are loaded on N8 like 5 band 3.5g, 16 gb memory, fm transmitter, large camera sensor, hdmi output. These things makes phone more thicker. Still N8 is only 2 mm more thick compare to Wave. And for your kind information N8 is made of highly scratch resistant anodized aluminium. It dont have paint. So No worry for any scratces on your phone.
[deleted post]you forgot the resolution, Wave has much bigger resolution, 89 M triangles/ sec at 800 x 600 of resolution..
and about the HD video recording, wave has a better HD recording, IMO..
if you look at this video,
it doesn't look quite nice, well that's for me after seeing wave's recording..
again, that's my opinion..
[deleted post]Yehey... N8 wins because it's bulky and plastic... I envy their themes though...
To be honest great imaging capability, great hd video capture ( Though its only 25 fps but in reality its looks better than Wave's 30 fps. Further more even Gsmarena said than 24fps > 30 fps while taking about hd capture, N8 is close to it) and free ovi maps alone worth the whole price let alone to mention other great specs of N8.

Thank you for mailing us. The cpu speed is the same as what is released to other countries. The expandable memory capability is up to 8 GB and is not upgradable.
So its a 1 ghz phone, contrary to what I was thinking.
And card support up to 8 gb only. And that's not enough for me.
I have SE C901 with 8 gb card and it's in perpetual 95% full. I keep on deleting existing files just to keep around 400 mb memory available.
think this is the best phone going for the price at the moment, galaxy s just a bit too big and no flash for the camera and will be more expensive, at the moment it works out to be over £300 more if i went for an iphone 4 over this over 24 months, dont think its worth that much more money for me

After that anything goes but it is always good (I think) to drain it one in a while.
