you do have great and powerful phones but try to make a phone with super amoled, ... moreThe new Samsung S8500 Wave is good, but, the camera is low 5.0 MP. I am currently using the S8300 Ultra Touch, the camera is 8.0 MP. which i like very much, the only problem i have is the bettery life, it is too short for me, after making and receiving some few calls, it goes down. I think, its only the software Bada, of which i really don't know about . But, when it comes to Designs and features, Samsung is good at that. Though, i don't know about Bada really, may be you can enlighten me a bit on it.

you do have great and powerful phones but try to make a phone with super amoled, 8-12 mega-pixels with dual flash, hd recording, bada ui but powered by android (eclair) or the latest version possible, and the body must look like the motorola milestone droid (with qwerty keyboard for easy typing or chatting, thin and sexy body with glossy and glorious designs) and if you can try to put a projector just like the samsung beam and lastly it should came up with no bugs or lags and the best experience of web brosing with ultimate speed.......
if you made all these "you made our dreams possible....."
samsung as i care.......
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2010"the whole Omnia thing." So do tell what that is.Not exactly sure what it is,since I didnt buy that phone, but from what I read online the software was really buggy,n no firmware was released until revently, which is too late..
I will love it with TV and also with double sim at least one of those for 3g the othe can be for gsm
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2010samsung does not support its phones like other companies do,no updates, no fixs.....thats why their phones are so cheap. otherwise, you'll pay 3x the price.
bravo...this is what expected from the world's largest technology company.
Anonymous, 15 Feb 2010no HDMI slot ???? Well - it has DLNa, so you can share stuff w your TV;
Also - it has aluminium single shell body, that GSM arena has missed out.
It also has SocialHub sw, which pulls together thru Seven all kinds of SNSs, IMs, calendar and contact services from the cloud.
So - all in all - pretty solid stuff.
Whats with all the bada hate? So far all i have seen is a very smooth iphone like experience with this platform in its alpha state. its so fast and no jerkyness that we get with other platforms......
Samsung is a big company, they are still releasing phones with other platforms so no need to whine like babies.
Im actually looking forward to this phone.
So, they are releasing a SMARTPHONE with BADA OS... Lol and Lol. I guess they didn't learned anything from there experience when they decided to put LiMo OS in there phones and those away more years developed Andorid and Symbian Os... Very nice move, very nice.. What are those marketing experts thinking?
samsung does not support its phones like other companies do,no updates, no fixs.....
sukrsa, 20 Feb 2010What about third party software? Can we install symbian saftware on it?
Hmm, may be you need an expert to help you with this. Someone with capability to rearrange and modify the internal systems of this new os, interrupts the firmware every 0.000016 n secs, switching the ROM to the RAM, underclocking the cpu down to 434 MHz (319 MHz recommended). And final step is much much much praying, hoping it can changes to symbian. Now, you can easily install symbian softwares into this phone :)
hope this hep.
I think Samsung should make the screen more bigger from 3.3 inches to 3.7 or more inches then the internal memory must be bigger like 32 GB and the last thing that I don't like is why Samsung still using 5 MP camera with LED flash not 8 or 10 or 12 MP camera with Xenon Flash. Hope when this phone finish, come with more better specifications
sukrsa, 20 Feb 2010What about third party software? Can we install symbian saftware on it? of course NOT dude,, I'm sure many people will laugh when they see your words,, hahhaahaa
owhh,, I hate to say this, but the interface, umm, the pop up style, is iPhonish,, however, it blends great multimedia experience and nice fluid UI perfectly,, haha (",)
I'm really excited for this phone.. Although I will wait a bit b4 buying after what happend with the whole Omnia thing.. See if it's really that good..
The design of this phone really reminds me of the Samsung Ultra series.. Specifically the Samsung U600..
The U600 was the best looking phone I had seen when it came out n i fell in love with it's looks.. Hopefully The s8500 will work as well as it looks..
