First of all my name is Kalpit.Second thing yes you are right Nexus have deleted all these stuffs because of its consume lots of spaces of phone memory and in this ROM Call Recording is there and you can also use Social Hub and Polaris Office and Configure your mails easily in this ROM, this ROM only lacks Front Camera. And Most Importantly there is no bugs. Every thing runs smoothly. However if you don't like this ROM you can use new ROM prepared by NEXUS which is most stable and fast with Front Camera and also "Visibility of Hidden Storage is activated"
Link of the same is here http://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4237
Right now i am using "New bada 2.0 XXLA1 CUSTOM Rom"
prepared by Nexus and planning to flash my phone with "New bada 2.0 XXLB2 CUSTOM ROM" prepared by Nexus
If you need any help please let me know.

I have damaged my screen, can it be replaced with a new one and where will i find one in Fiji or New Zealand??
I have the phone for more than a year, and i can say it's more than good! The touch UI is just amazing, some of the most recent phones can't reach the feeling that this wave has. Aluminium body, also the best among the options in the market, not light, neither heavy, Just perfect. It is resistent for sure, not a scratch on it untill now. The Battery is fantastic, it manages to last 8 days with balanced use (Brazilian firmware). If you connect to social nets and heavy use, well, it lasts about 3 days, not too shabby. Camera is also great, i can't regret the 5mp and HD video, has great quality on both. About Bada, it is growing, slowly, and the only problem i found out is that samsung is taking too long to bring the 2.0 worldwide update! Worth every cent!

Hope you have visited that site and downloaded that Custom ROM in that NEXUS the... moreHello anonymous,
Have you got a name? well yes, I've tried nexus custom firmware but i don't like it cause they removed lot of stuff like yahoo, hotmail messanger, default ringtone, wallpaper it doesn't look so professional. It is bada so must look like a bada phone. I love elite rom it is fast and it has call record and front camera activated. But still elite rom has bugs i can't use social hub and can't be able to configure my email clients. So at last I revert back to official firmware XXLA1. Tell me what kind of firmware you are using now?
Thank for your reply
Hey @ samsung why not let Nokia do a bada system phone it would give others a chance to.see.just how good bada is and you could see what ever you might need to change by some body else using that.system Its worth a try.what would you.have to lose from TobyRich
Forget the phone, bada 2.0 gives no improvement:
- hanging touchscreen input, often you open the url-link, when you intended to scroll
- little improvement of "page too big error"
- google maps so slow that you can't use
So it looks like android now, but doesn't work like. That's all. A great pretender in beeing a so called smartphone!
iv had wave s8500 from day 1 and ive loved it, the 1.2 update was ok but ive not got the 2.0 update is it in kies. ive been told its released and ive been told its not released, someone tell me the truth.....is the official 2.0 update released in the uk on o2 :)
hardware and -timewise it is the most brilliant phone of all time! but Samsung ruined it as soon as Android came TRULY out (Galaxy S e.g. Wave with a bigger screen).
and they kept F'in up a good phone with a half-ass bada2! as a loyal Samsung fan since 2005 i'm finding Sony Xperia sola a lot more pleasing, than to put up to another Samsung "promise-no-promise-no-"half-ass-POS-that'll never see an upgrade again!"...
yesterday i updated my wave 8500 to bada 2.0, it is useless and i plan to revert it back.
no deactivation of conversation view
poor camera quality
bad sound of camera
poor performance of touch
complex to use
too many home screens
i dont see any improvement in gps
it may be good when samsung launch it officially in pakistan as they may have fixed these bugs in last 1 yr.
awesome phone uper amolded hd diplay with non scratchable gorilla glass.
but the week point is that it supports only 720phd and not 1080phd
superb head phone quality.batter backup is the worst it rushe out in almost 2hrs of frequent use
love you jamshedpur(manish nttf)
I miss Profiles and Equalizer "inside" the Music player.
It seems my phone is having ramdom issues though. Which is a bit curious. First it was the lock key, now the home button. The audio quality was bad, then suddenly it became different, then it's back to "bad" again after XLA1 update. I did the update OTA. the file size was only 6mb. What the....
If only I could find a phone that's worthy a replacement and won't burn a hole in my pocket. LoL.
