Regarding to your problem, before connecting your phone to your laptop be sure close all running application (music etc etc) so, the question how do you know the running application? Just press the center botton (diamond) together with cancell botton for about 4 seconds then running application will appear.

Had some problems installing Kies and got quite pissed off earlier actually. Kept getting this error. Worked around it by retaining my previous version of Kies from my Omnia Lite and upgrading within the software. Until now, I cannot still upgrade my firmware because of the "MSCThunderFIrmwareUpdate" problem. I changed one of my registry entries (added the FUS) and still doesn't work. Can anyone please help me with this? I would like to upgrade my firmware with the least damage possible (from Kies, and not multiloader).
Also, anyone have any idea when they'll release N.O.V.A. on the Samsung Apps store in the Philippines?

phones fan, 19 Oct 2010the 3.3" screen of the wave gives it a higher pixel density and so wave has no pixelated ... moreThank you for your reply. It's just hard for me to decide when i haven't seen the screen myself. Assuming some other users here have been using the device for a long time, so i asked here for an advice, first hand user reviews is the most credible for me.
About the mesh effect, i'm so interested about SAMOLED that i came across a discussion of galaxy S being meshed in comparison with milestone. Thats where i learned about the RGB vs Pentile RGBG thing.
About the web pages, some claim that texts in 480x800 can still be readable without zooming in webpages, i think that's good since i prefer the texts in web pages only to be zoomed in when i'm fully interested to read the whole article. But it's not the same, they say, in galaxy S. Texts looks pixelated and with rough edges. So you have to zoom, either halfway, for the text to be recognized by our eyes.
I'm so confused on what to choose. I think i will have to settle in waiting until december, the time when i will have the money, and see if s8500 will still be available by then, if not, i will choose s8530 or n8 or wave 3 if there is any(?). There, that's my decision. :)
TO OTHERS: Please don't reply with rudeness. You're being so sensitive about samsung wave. You talk as if its your first born son. It's very childish. It's bordering on ridiculous. I'm saying this for your own good, because you're making a fool of yourself. Or if you can't understand what i'm talking about, just shut up, it's clear i have no intention to talk with stupid. You know who you are.
