My accelerometer seems to be quite unstable. LOL
Sometimes even when I keep the phone horizontal, the page gets a portrait layout, instead of going to landscape mode.
After i swivel the phone again, it returns to the landscape mode.
What should I do? The service center ppl say its normal :|

Samsung runs out of SUPER AMOLEDs and halted top Galaxy S and Wave production simply because All Super AMOLED displays have been bought by Apple
We’ve got some interesting piece of news coming from Moscow Russia today, from Mobile-review’s editor Eldar Murtazin.
According to him , the Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Wave S8500 are no longer in production anymore, because Samsung has not enough super AMOLED screens left.
The Wave should be replaced with a new model that features a bigger, Super TFT screen, while all its other features will remain the same. This will enable poorer screen to be compensated by more size and not force samsung to decrease the cost of phone
As for the Galaxy S, it’s said that Samsung doesn’t have any ready substitute for it at the moment, although the smart phone “contract carrier versions” ( meaning the Vibrant, Captivate, and Fascinate) will still continue to be in production “due to contract obligations.”
Assuming this is true how could have Samsung ran out of Super AMOLED displays.Answer from Eldar Murtazin is that Apple may have bought “all the vast quantities of Super AMOLEDs for 2011.” Of course, this is only a rumor, and I don’t think there’s any bit of truth in it. Apple won’t give up on its proven Retina Display for i Phone 4, especially when most if not all reviewers said it is one of the best displays ever included in a smartphone.
Sure enough, Apple may have bought all AMOLED displays for its future i Pads coming next summer, but that still doesn’t make much sense: why would Samsung not use one of its best technologies in its own products, and instead sell it to a rival company.May be apple is paying them heavily. Or this news could be fake. But seeing the shortage of Wave and galaxy in Asia the news seems true.
dont buy sony ericsson its the most worst company now..previous models are best..but now sony ericsson is not produce good products..

thats a prolem of samusng ....even my old nokia 5800 still updated....but wave have no update ...and i'm seeing some problems...if i'm playing 15minutes of games continuously then other games cant open...says not enough memory....
Salle, 02 Oct 2010I have just done update of the last firmware through kies and wave entered into never ending b... morei'm from croatia and yesterday experienced same problem.i updated trough kies (jf8>jh3). after succesfull updating, neverending reboot. i loaded full firmware jf8(the one i had before) with multiloader program and everything is working now. only problem i expirience is that i lost all data that was in phone, and i don't have anymore t-mobile stuff and internet settings. that is probably cause i loaded jh8 europe firm, the one i had before was jh8 t-mobile tuned. also i cannot upgrade firm via kies anymore,it says that my firm cannot be upgraded(no offered upgrades).
main reason i wanted to do update is improved camera and video recording in newer firmware. guess i'll have to wait for some major update like bada 1.1.
I think i need to sell my wave as soon as possible just because of poor update support from SAMSUNG ! I think there will be no FLASH PLAYER 10.1 on samsung WAVE ! nw i hate samsung !
This phone has a problem with the camera where instead of reducing exposure and ISO speed automatically during the focusing phase, they're static. Because of that,
1) when taking a close-up picture the flash makes everything white. And since the exposure and ISO speed don't automatically lower during this phase, auto-focus may fail to work correctly.
2) instead of making the flash fire at maximum but with reduced ISO and exposure - which avoids blurry pictures, only the light level of the flash is dimmed. The end result is overexposed blurry pictures.
However, recently I got my hands on a Wave 723 test unit, and what I've noticed (compared to S8500) is that the camera exposure and focus when using the LED flash are now more-or-less perfect. They both auto-adjust dynamically during the focusing phase.
I'm hoping that a firmware update for S8500 that will fix the auto-focus phase in the camera is on the way. Anyone can confirm this?
I have just done update of the last firmware through kies and wave entered into never ending boot phase. I can't stop it and can't do anything with the phone now.
As Samsung support in Serbia is horrible and if I have to bring the phone to authorised workshop, most probably I will not have it for at least 30 days!
Is there a possibility to do hard reset by using keys as I can not type anything? Or I will have to take the phone to authorised workshop as it is under warranty (which I would like to avoid if possible)?
now we have flip clock n home(internet) widgets..for more customization plz add a good im n push email client..then wave will b the best..
