well this is just my opinion.the reason why it is no. one is because the phone is popular. many people buy this because on papers , the specs are really good. but if you look deeper on the os (well they say that bada is not really an os , some websites dont classify bada as on os instead it is a platform)it is not nice.. comparing it to android bada sucks big time.. no offense to you guys but that is the reality, if you bring out your wave many people will say "wow fantastic display because of the super amoled , do you have good games or apps there?" now what will you answer? not at the moment. unlike android, they have very ueseful and cool apps. which makes bada sucks.. the only good about this phone is the hardware. but the software is not. samsung is not know for its software development so i think bada will not go anywhere. unlike android, google give so much support on them also ios4 apple.. maybe time to swtich to android. and lastly samsung admitted that they didnt release bada to compete with android, symbian ,ios4, so that says a lot.

You don't have job? Is your cellphone your life? Why you demand too much application? Besides, Samsung is releasing apps day by day for Bada OS.

123, 15 Aug 2010hey all u guys out there.listen carefully..Bada os is a crap...sorry to say this..but if samsu... morereally, eventhough i dont own wave but i hate these du*mb people referring bada as non-smartphone as compared to android.they both are smartphone but they are two different kind of os. android is more toward customizability while bada is more for games and multimedia i think(i played around on my friends wave alot). in this case imo bada is more like iphone(though not so restricted like ios). and its still a new os so little apps is expected.

123, 15 Aug 2010hey all u guys out there.listen carefully..Bada os is a crap...sorry to say this..but if samsu... moreI don't believe you, because what made the iphone very successful is not the high price but the good quality application , high graphics games and good built ,andriod games still didn't reach iphone quality ,may be things would change with more andriod updates.
now check youtube and write wave vs x10 vs desire, watch carefully how bada smashes andriod in booting time and gaming graphics, then check asphlat game for galaxy s video and notice how wave beats galaxy in gaming ;)
so please keep your opinions for yourself.

amirkhan, 15 Aug 2010well wave is getting a bit boring right now.. i saw android on my friend's htc and it far more... more"bada os is not really a smarphone"
I think you mean "wave is not really a smartphone"
now let me explain something for you:the smartphone is any phone that capable of running applications other than java applications,so wave is a smartphone because it runs java and bada.
some people didn't used a smartphone before the wave ,these people might had used nokia s40 ,samsung or SE feature phones, and when they change to bada ,most of them will find it amazing.
and other people had used smartphones before, wither symbian, android, winmo,or iOS, these people will find it difficult to change to new os that misses some of the applications they like, but "smart people "had checked youtube videos demonstrating wave and bada os and they knew they will have to wait few months before porting of their app to bada occur ,on the other hand, some "du*mb poeple" will sell their smart phones and buy samsung wave and start to complain that no enough applications for bada os,so that means wave is not a smartphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blue, 15 Aug 2010Hi guys, yesterday after much research i finally got my Metallic Black WAVE. Its a nice phone... moreBlue.

1.) Your memory card is probably formatted in the wrong format. If you have a laptop with card reader, then put ur mc in a card adaptor and then insert it in ur laptop. Otherwise, Get a card reader, they come pretty cheap. And connect that via usb.

Then format your memory card in FAT32 format and things will be okay.

2.) When you Go to the VCF File stored in your "Others" folder, you should see an option for "Register to contacts". Click on that and you're good to go.
