This is also a samsung phone, it has samsung features , the design is just not samsung , anyway this phone is a pitty , 1000 for that!
Id better buy 3 nokia 6280 ^^
This is NOT a samsung mobile, its an Bang & Olufsen!
An unusual design, indeed. But does it really do any more than a dozen other 'phones on the market ? And, on reading the reviews sent in already I am appalled at the standard of literacy of the majority of commentators !
The camera is hidden on one side of the phone, where the hinges are. Itīs quite cool because you can take pics without it looking too obvious. Itīs almost like a spy cam.
Ear: top of the screne, like a normal phone
Mounth: the other end ^_^
and you say you know a lot about phones.. you gotta be kidding...
for those who would like to know:
the screen can be switched to the top.
what i would like to know is where is said camera and at one point wasn't there an old version of the serene w/o camera?
if u read it again.. and read the features..
u will see ;

Just taken delivery of this magnifcent mobile phone. If you want to be different then this is for you. If you want something unique and not wanna be a part of all the usual stuff out there then get 1. You will not regret it. Worth every penny. If you want exclusifity then u pay for it, if you didnt have to pay for being exclusive there would be no such thing.
no offense but i dont even understand where u put your ear and your mouth and im 17 i know alot about this kind of stuff.
Hmmm... that sounded very bitter. B&O out of your league perhaps? Maybe they should give YOU the other 500, sounds like you may need it. :D Howīs your piggy bank?
Wow anouther posers phone (oh golly i am really special as I have a B + O phone!) What as waste of space its a samsung phone rebranded with a B+O badge and desing, you must be a real mug to pay 800 for this.
How about spending 300 on a better looking phone and donating the further 500 to charity... bloomin posers want to look like posh n becks ;)
I just saw this phone today, and I was impressed but at the same time not totally convinced. On one hand is the nice size, weight and overall feel, not cheap at all. Secondly, you have to watch/listen to the opening mechanism to really appreciate how much care has been taken into designing this phone. Itīs simply stunning.
I own 2 B&O phones so I immediately felt at home with the touch wheel (pretty much a la iPod). The screen interface seemed very simple conpared to Nokiaīs etc, but the design is pure elegance. It is possible (and easy) to change the orientation of the screen by pressing and holding a button for a second, so thatīs no real problem. It has the usual features of a mid-high end phone without the gimmicks. The camera was nothing special, but then again there are MANY camera phones if thatīs what you are after.
The charging base is a sight to behold, especially when the phone is placed on top. Overall, itīs an extravagant design but well thought out and extremely tempting as it feels different to all phones out there. However, there is something missing... I still donīt know what it is but I need to be sure before I buy it.
Its a great phone, for those of you who are looking for 3G, Games, MP3 Player and all other stuff like that, this phone is NOT for you. This for is discreet yet elegant and its made to talk and communicate, what do you know thats what a phone is REALLY for. I work B&O and ive used the phone. Desing and menu functions are great, a couple hours with it and you will feel like you've used it forever.
It opens mechanically and that is just so cool to look at. The docking station is elegant and slim as well. This phone was not desinged for everyone, B&O customers will buy it because they know the brand and they know they are getting a quality product. The price is not too bad if you compare it to BeoCom 2 cordless home phone for almost the same price.
As usual B&O on a leage of its own.
