It did not support MP3, like other 2002 phones (i believe). This phone is old to work in 2025 and have MP3.

"Wow", the "first" phone with a TFT colour display. "Totally" beat the VXPhone Pro in the TFT screen race (that's a lie, and the VXPhone Pro did it better with a QVGA screen).

I'm using this phone in 2022. Got it off eBay as new old stock; still in the sealed box. Amazing phone! Texting is a bit tricky, but the T9 helps once you get used to it.

You may be arguing which phone had the first color display... BUT... Samsung T100 was the first display with a crystal clear quality at that time. There wasn't any competitor with even a similar display quality. Since then, Samsung is the pioneer in displays, TVs, etc. It is funny that even today, many brands still can't realize how important the display quality is on a device. In the early 2000's, I remember my friends having Nokia phones with "color" display - their display colors were slowly refreshing, leaving colorful artifacts, with extremely slow refresh rate. Only a person who have seen them will know what I am talking about. The T100 display was something unseen on a mobile phone until then - such a display masterpiece. And the unique and clear polyphonic melodies - so iconic - evergreens I would say. Great product, and still working even today :)

I have this phone but the CDMA version (SCH-A565). I got it 10 years ago (2003). I still love it! Even more than my iPhone 5 hahaha.
