Unknown, 24 Feb 2010so how many text can you do for $1.00? you can send 33.3 texts with $1.00
I have a question for anyone with this phone who has a Mac. Have any of you tried connecting it to your Mac? Does it work like it should? Or did they purposely cripple it like Motorola did to their latest slider? I bought the Motorola EM326 last year because it was more advanced than what I had. Excited I took it home and tried to connect it to my MacBook to find out they weren't telling us that the USB transfer and BlueTooth capabilities DO NOT WORK ON MACS. I was pissed off.
If this one works with a Mac in that I can connect it with the USB cable and transfer the files to it like a drive, I will probably get this. I use text messages more than I do talk so the cheaper messages would be a plus for me. But if I can't use it on my Mac, what's the point? I'll stick with my EM326 for now instead of go through the trouble of calling Net10 to transfer my information again.
ALSO, does it allow any MP3 to be a ringtone, and does it allow custom MP3 text message alerts? The EM326 allowed MP3 ringtones made by me (Instead of requiring you to buy them from Motorola) but didn't allow custom text message tones. Which sucked because my previous phone, a crappy candybar from Motorola, allowed custom text message tones. Even though they were MIDI and not MP3.
Lastly, how is the web browser? All other Net10 phones I've used have the worst browser ever. I am not expecting iPhone quality browsing, but at least something I can use that won't draw my battery to zero when loading one page.
HI thanks so much i am very happy that it is only .3cents and not .5 thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!
Anonymous, 20 Feb 2010does it have a camera? Are you blind? If you are then I apologize, if not then please read the article before asking questions.
Camera Primary 1.3 MP, 1280 x 1024 pixels
Get your facts right. Voice is 10 cents per minute, internet WAP browsing is 10 cents per minute (not $1.00 per minute) and each text is 3 cents, not 30 cents. The texting rate is lower then the 5 cents per text of the other Net10 phones.
i have the phone now it is alsome and yes it is 30 cent it deducts .3 minutes for each txt
Kayla, 17 Feb 2010Hi i am wondering how much the texting is on the net10 samsung t401g because i heard that it i... moreTexting through NET10 is usually 5c for each text sent or received. At least that is what it is for me.
I haven't gotten the phone yet, but it does seem like a really good phone to get. The qwerty keyboard would come in handy. It better than Virgin Mobile's X-tc. That phone has cramped qwerty keys, and a very weird way to dial numbers. It would be best to get this phone instead of the X-tc.
Hi i am wondering how much the texting is on the net10 samsung t401g because i heard that it is 30¢ and i heard that it iz 50¢ can you tell me what one it is. Thanks!!
