Samsung Android Rumors

Samsung teased a tri-fold smartphone at last month's Unpacked event, and today, we may have discovered what the device will be called. Information from Korea revealed the name Samsung Galaxy G Fold; it will feature a tri-fold design, similar to the Mate XT, along with a brand-new 10-inch screen.

The new G Fold should weigh the same as the Huawei device, which is just under 300 grams. However, the Samsung device will not be as thin as its Chinese counterpart, which is 3.6 mm in a fully unfolded state.

The foldable panel and touchscreen represent fresh innovations not previously seen in the Galaxy Z Fold series. The diagonal measurement reportedly reaches 9.96", and the cover display, when fully folded, will measure 6.54", which is a bit larger than the current Z Fold6.

The biggest question we're all pondering is the letter that's coming after Galaxy. Samsung might choose the catchy Galaxy G alliteration, but it's also possible that G just means Galaxy.

We'll be eagerly waiting until the July-September timeframe, where we anticipate some teasing from Samsung about the product. If those reports from Korea hold true, we can look forward to its arrival in January 2026.

Missed opportunity to have named the Z fold, the N fold because it looks like the letter N when half folded and the new tri-screen fold to be called Z because it looks like the letter Z when half folded.

Oh, you're wrong. I don't care who sells how much. I don't care if 1+ sells 5 phones or 5 billion phones. Apparently, you're the only one who cares. This means absolutely nothing about the quality of the product. After all, Google...
