i sms a LOT (50-60/day) and ever since the first day of usage i had to reboot once every day because the phone just randomly fails to send messages. Rebooting takes care of the problem and you can text again right away, but the same thing happens again within a day of moderate messaging. Also, symbols like parentheses cannot be used while in T9 mode.
For the screen, having seen a few nokia 16M's i highly doubt this is truly a 16M screen. The numpad is one-piece but despite that, i don't have much trouble with my huge fingers. Pictures may not be enough to tell, but this phone has a very stylish paintjob. Very sexy and great value.

the WAP is uber fast...
the cam? mediocre... eventhough it claims to be 3MP
the housing easily scratched and etched with
OVER ALL it is a very worthy investment at only PhP6,500.00

Where do you set how SMS messages are stored? I've just noticed that messages are being stored in the SIM and I would rather have it saved automatically to the phone's memory instead.

The UI takes a bit getting used to, but that's normal when you switch brands or models. This is my first samsung phone having "turned my back" from an old-time favorite SonyEricsson and I'm not regretting it a bit.
Should it be surprising that it works out of the box as a data modem for Ubuntu, which is my real reason for getting it?
The keys takes a bit of pressing, maybe it's just new and needs some time to get them all worked up but I got no complaints right now.

Hi im currently being offered in my plan a new Nokia 6303 or a Samsung U800. What do you think should i choose? From a looks standpoint i like the sleek look of the Samsung Phone better but the Nokia 6303 is a newer phone. What would the experts out there suggest? Please advise thanks!

Keys kinda crowded for texting (for me) but you'll get used to it after some use. Battery is really good. Display is crisp. Sounds are loud enough to hear even when outside. Has 3G and Secondary Video up front for its price is nice. Has internal of 1GB. Slot for MicroSD. Earphones included are In-Ear which is a nice plus. One thing i didn't like is in the sent items of the Messaging. You can't seem to sort it out according to date sent which i find odd. It should have been a default setting. Other than that a very nice phone for its price range. Lastly Metallic Black is better than Silver =)
