Phoned Vodafone this morning and was told the release date had been put back to 02 May

It's official release date in the UK is !4th April. As for availability on networks, CPW and Vodafone have it as "coming soon" and some of the Independent shops have it as available on O2 from the 14th.
Anyone know about the colouring of the phone?!?!?!? All silver or half black???

Anyone know what the deal is with the colouring of this phone?
On the GSMArena review, it's all silver, but in the official pics it has a black lower part.
Which one is being released or are they two seperate designs?

has anybody read or heard anything about the two different colors for this phone? you can see them in the photos on this site. one's all bright and silver and the other has the darker almost black color around the keypad. (see the photo here and then compare to the 360 view)

My brother has the U600 and i find the camera to be really clear but the U900 is 5mp that is awesome also has radio even more cool,i did not see it anyway as yet.

samsung is my second most favorite cellphone brands after sony ericsson.
i hate nokia. they're thick
samsung is slim.
but the designs of their are redundant.
some of their phones look exactly the same.
most of them are sliders.
oh please samsung. try somthin else

Nokia phones aren't that thick if you compare them to Sony ericsson K850 K810 K800 W800..Etc

what i was trying to say is
the redundancy of the sliders design.
samsung is really good in constructing sliders.
it is just hard to distinguish one from another.
but the design of U sliders were awesome.
just love the U600 and U900.
U700 is not too much.

I love to buy this phone but I would like to have GPS navigation & software with U900. All the other feachers are verry good in this mobile.
