Question:
If you buy a new handset like the U900 ore other kind,do you need to do something so the batery lasts longer?
I heard people saying to drain out the batery while it's new and charge it fot 12 ours.
Is it true?

I have just purchased the U900 and need some help...
Can anyone tell me how to remove the GPRS sign in the top left hand corner and can you turn the camara to take pictures lenght ways??

yai333, 01 Aug 2008many people posted the trick to increase ringer volume here in this board... but i don't recom... moreWell ... maybe in case of using some codes I are right. I do not like to invade to much in the phone as I don't want to destroy it.
But this method, that I use is just to use phones normal settings(I posted it before - try it):
1. When you set up your profile, you set up the loudness of the ring.
THIS IS NOT ENOUGH !!!
2. THE SECRET :):
There is a second way to adjust the (already set up in profile) loudness of phone ring. While receiving a phone call - USE THE VOLUME BUTTONS to increase the loudness !!!!!!!
This adjusts the "system volume", that is also adjustable while configuring the profiles.
I just took my home phone, called to my cell and did adjust on the cell the ring loudness for each & every profile and it works beautifully. My phone rings now however loud I want.
Additionally, if you want to use a loud MP3-file, use a freeware soft called "mp3gain" to increase the dB value of you favourite MP3-ringtone.)
Forget about any special codes, that might be risky.

bee, 30 Jul 2008i cant download music movies software so hard to use nokia easy to use dont buy sams... moredont know how it could be any easier. We put mp3 and mp4 on phone in seconds - very quick - very easy, no computer programmer needed!!!! Had songs, rintones etc very quick and easy - definately not hard or rubbish. Obviously a Nokia fan, but if you change phones as you have done, take the time to work it out - its not going to be the same, but its definately an awesome phone with very competitive specs and capabilities.

4.press the RIGHT ARROW and then u should see message alert type and other stuff for messages.I hope it works.

easy to use them
U900 is rubbish
plz dont get taken in by people saying they are good
they must work for samsung
