is it just me or is the music really really soft on this phone?
i got this phone like 3 days ago and the music at its max volume is soft as hell

anyone have this phone with optus and know the mms settings apparently because its not an optus approved phone i cant send or recieve mms

jill, 22 Jul 2008does anyone know how to get rid of the shortcut menu on the bottom of the front screen Sorry jill, all you can do is just to remove all shortcut and make the sensitivity of the touch screen to '1'. however, there is a hidden config menu for testing and setting up the phone.. but I wouldn't recommend you to change anything there.
Anybody knows how to use the hidden menu? I have the code to open the menu though.

Got my U900 less than 2 weeks ago. Features are basic with other samsung phone except for few improvements. Message alert tone cant be customized with downloaded music or alert tone.Stored message alert tones need a lot of improvements. Sounds can still be improved. My slide up became wobbly in a span of 7 days in an uncomfortable level which made me returned my unit to my dealer. Im demanding for replacement not repair coz its not worth it to spend hard earned money for a defective U900.Samsung told me it will take 1 - 2 weeks before they decide to replace or worst, only repair the unit .Does anyone out there have similar problem as mine? Kindly shake your phone and observed for ticking movement of the slide up which by the way should not be present in comparison with a brand new unit.Well, my unit is till in samsung and needs to wait for 1-2 weeks. I'm beginning to lose my excitement in this phone. I think this will be my last samsung phone ever!!!!!!!, will shift to other brand, anyway others, i think are much better but i still prefered samsung since , may i quote " its not a commoner's phone"

Only thing that is good on this phone is 5mpx camera

Samsung phones are great in design but in software they are all the same. From E830,D900,U600,U900...they are all the same within. Menu is allways the same. If that could be mix of nokia's software with Simbian OS and samsung design it could be a perfect phone :-)
