Anonymous, 05 Jul 2008Do you always have to set the settings of the camera when u turn it on?what are the options to... moreto turn on/off the flash, in the cam mode, simply tap the flash sign in the touch screen panel twice... when turng on the cam, the setting will be the one u last use...

silent, 06 Jul 2008y izzit everytime i want to use an mp3 ( in mcard) as a ringtone the phone will make a copy in... moredon't know if it's normal for samsung cuz the soul is also my first samsung... but it's normal for nokia and all those pocket pc phones...

Great phone! I have been using it for more than a month now. i love those privacy lock, and the graphic is excellent. by the way any one know how to use the "mobile tracker" and the "auto reject" functions? thanks.

Is it possible to set MP3 as a ringtone? Because some phones say you can, but when you get it you cant.

This is a really awesome phone. Owned this phone for about 3 weeks now, no problems at all. Out of the box, this phone firmware is very stable compared to most phones that always come with bugs!! So far the phone is very fast ~ no slow downs, no random restart, no crashes! Also this is avery sexy phone =P All and all, AWESOME PHONE! EVERYONE SHOULD GET ONE =)

by the way, the line - 'Then key in 4 to bring up have-QTune (MP3) menu.' in my menu the option is at no 3.. so read u;re menu carefully b4 selecting. I guess the menu defers in some country.. or its a typo.. i dunno

Making your Samsung Soul MP3 and Ringrone Louder
===============================
- Type *#0002*28346#.
- It will bring up a menu.
- Load Params.
- Dump Params.
- Call Config.
- Press Back & it will bring up another longer menu.
- Key in 3 to bring up SPK Config Menu.
- Then key in 4 to bring up have-QTune (MP3) menu.
- Key in 1 to bring up SPK MP3 Vol. Menu.
- Key in 6 to change the max. Volume.
- Input 40 & press OK, it will change to 4.0db default max. Volume is 3db. I wouldn't recommend higher than 6.0db because the sound will distort, anything lower will be fine.
- Once done, press cancel to close the service menu & try to play a MP3 with max. Volume. This volume apply for your MP3 Ringtones & Message tones.
