took it out from my dry cabinet yesterday, and this little wonder is still alive...
on the subway when everybody was busy playing with their smart phone, this dumb phone really stands out!

Ahh.X430 my first love. Using this incredible phone set for the last Nine long years. I can't think of divorcing myself from this beautifully stylish phone.The only problem now facing is the non availability of battery from the market.
In my quest to keep it running, i have improvised a way to replace its two small dry cell(used in wrist watches) inside the battery. I have done a couple of time and has been working perfectly for me.

gj, 19 Dec 2005I have to say that this phone is REALLY annoying. I've been using it for over a year now and ... moreI have mine for 7 Yrs. dont want to retire it. had several upgrades of contracts and got new phone every time but im still using the x430 cause its small- easy to put in any pocket while im working.has no paint on it anymore.same batery still. charge every second day.I'm self employed and receive and make a lot of calls. have a few minor problems: Screen crystal leak,(orange pixels)batle to read sms. Press # while writing sms and exit from sms to main screen and must start sms again. Sensitive buttons(sometimes double press and sometimes must pres again) but im looking for a good x430 to replace this one. if i can just repair the screen it will be a lot better. Anyone in SA want to get rid of x430. i will buy

This is my first phone and i luv it very much..i've been using it for 6 years until now.i've spent a great time with it.i dropped it million times..he.he.but it's still working.now i use 2 phones to cover x430's lack of camera&music.i'll never dump it and x430 will be always in my pocket..x430 becomes one of the beautiful things in my life :-)
