The Irda is use only with modem communication!
It's not possible transfer files with pc,mobile phones,...
The Irda is locked by Vodafone.

It's an overall good phone, the 20 messages max, annoys me! Also the USB for this phone is very complicated to use, I would reccomend this phone but I have had it for 6 months and want to change it already, it has many features but they're quality is bad! Voice recording...10 seconds? rubbish!

ok mr james..to activate ur loudspeaker, u just have to connect ur phone to an amplifier and a big speaker.
and then u can make it as loud as u want...
am i funny or wat????!!!!

iwawww the sharp gx10i is great but when ur from the philipines like me welll u cant enjoy it much orange havent reach here yet.. and my problem is i have no manual of my fone. i somehow have a hard time understanding some functions in my fones for example themelody editor.. i cant seem to compose a tune im going nuts with this fone eny ways these fone is tougf and my fone is a living proof . once this fone fell in a swiming pool then i just dried it up then nothing seems to be broken then i droped it in a escalator at the mall i tell you these fone is tougf.. i love it.. hey if someone has a copy of a sharp gx10i manual please seng me some . so i can enjoy my fone more thanks a lot ivan gomez from philipines

the cell fone is a good one and better than many. but the only prob i face is while i write the message. its a bit difficult to write in the T9 mode. the dictionary has a limited memory for words to be added. can anyone tell me wherefrom can i get an infrared software for my gx10i.
