its easy to change the text ringtone, all you have to do is go on settings, sound, alerts, message alert and then you can change your multimedia taxt tone, normal text tone and your wap text tone.

hey i have a query, i have just got a gx15 and i was wondering how do you change the text ringtone as i dont like the one that is default with the handset, i cant see where i can change it

This mobile looks very good and it has very good features.But seems to a problem with networks coz i got my with Vodafone and the memory is only 1.8 MB memory,but the phones sold by the chinese network Xera it comes with 3.8 MB in memory,and i hearded that some networks in Hong Kong are seeling them with 8 MB.So what´s up with Vodafone?

Hello UNKNOW.
I have got already the other network settings and i got GPRS coverage in my phone,but anyway the GPRS doesn´t work.I don´t know if there any problem with the network or with the phone.I have went the shop and they say the settings r ok.And in my display appears the signal of roaming even if i got other sim card then my network.

GPRS Is where you can access the internet by.. if you were in a diffrent country then the grps settings were diffrent there.. and now that u have also a dif sim u will need to change the GPRS settings.. go search on google and they might tell u how to do this..

Hello,everyone.
I just bought my GX15 in Barcelona(Spain)for 65 Euros unlocked.And i think it´s a great phone,i´ve got a lot of appliccations and games(FIFA 2005,Siberian Strike,Red Faction),but now i come back to Finland and switched my Vodafone sim card to the local network(DNA old Telia)but my GPRS isn´t working anymore so i cant send MMS or use WAP,i got all the settings in the phone from the network that i am using now,but now i don´t know why it won´t to work(the GPRS).Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?Please send me yours feedback to this forum.THX

Hi. I have a gx22 and I really hate how it handles sim and phone numbers- there is very little the user can customize within this area. I am sure Gx users know what I mean. I wonder if the gz100 is the same. And also if the user can add new word onto the dictionary cause gx's wont let you

make sure ur sending the right type of data. somthing arent aloud to send or recieve through either bluetooth or irda(infrared)

Does anybody knows if there is a problem with GX15 while trying to SEND DATA using infrared? RECEIVING through infrared works fine (no matter what device is used to connect-send data to).

Hey it would be better if u tlak in english.. Anyways. You will need to open bluetooth or infrared and connect with another device which has infrared or bluetooth and then send the file u want to send.

Can anyone help me please? I've been offered the Sharp GX15 as a free upgrade. I've always had Nokias and am a bit loathe to change. Any thoughts? The memory seems to be the only thing people complain about. How many pictures would the memory store?

the sharps GX15 is a grate phone i can say this because i own 1. with bluetooth, INRD, poly ringtones, video meassaging and last but not least the camera. its got awsome pic quality.
