I've had this phone since it was released a year ago. It's taken a whole year for me to even consider replacing it!! The GX30 is a quality phone, only recently have other phones given it any competition.

I still can't make the MP3 player on the GX32 to work... Wonder why they would have to make things so complicated to just listen to music on the phone. The Sharp V801SH can record and playback music so easily and it even record via optical jack from CD player, now that's high quality. I think I'll just dump my GX32 and stick with the V801SH and V902SH both Japanese version. The V801SH cannot be unlocked but the V902SH can be unlocked. The UK version of the 902 is junk. Don't spend big money on the unlocked version of the 902 to use in the US.

This is a great phone,i`ve had lots of phones but this is by far the best, the memory card makes it really easy to download your pictures + you can upgrade the card to hold as much as you like, picture quality is excelent as is the streaming video, which can be upgraded to do a 4hr film,

i must say i have wanted this phone for ages! but now that i have it i really dont think its all too good! this phone only has a small memory compared with the d500! for some reason mp3's cannot be transfered to this phoneor even downloaded! now this is the main reason that i boght this phone as i thought it would play mp3's as this is wot it said on the box! Not impressed with this phone at all! the disco lights on it are cool tho! the camera is fantastic but i jus wish it'd have a better memory on it!

A good succesor to the gx20.Camera is great(1mp) and the mp3 player has a good quality playback. It also takes mmc cards which is handy.
But the connectivity is still a dissapointment.Cant tranfer files via bt/ir from another mobile device.

The GX30 is out of date the new version is GX30i which has full bluetooth. Why would anyone still sell/buy the GX30 when the GX30i is out?

Wave and MP3 format files cannot be used as rintones on this phone according to the manual. Also this phone only accepts bluetooth devices of a handsfree set and a car kit.

make a message with the words u wont to add and save it to drafts...
then delete it straight afterwards. All the words you used should stay in the T9

                                      :)

is it true that u cannot add words to the T9 dictionairy. If that's true, it's a real pity because it seems to be a good phone...
