Got the phone as a free upgrade! Initally loved it. photo quality was superb! Unfortunately there is no voice dialling from bluetooth and when you are on a call via bluetooth headset, when you shut the phone it hangs up the call!?! So I've got to leave the phone in it's open position and try to stuff it in my pocket when in the car making calls! No THANKS!! Returning it tomorrow, revert back to trusty Sony Er t68i until there new range come out in June/July.

i got it for 170 quid at 15 a month, its a nice phone with an awesome screen, camera is a bit slow but quality of pics is gr8. The light is also really strong, and the mp3s sound pretty good through speaker as well, and no mp3s cant be used as ringtones,

Way overrated. This looks like any other flip phone but costs USD 1,000. Crazy, it is just a fucking phone - come on guys.

The phone is quite good shame about the 8mb card you can only fit 1 or 2 mp3s on i thought the camera would be slightly better.

GX 30 you cannot connect to your PC with Bluetooth (you swap files with infra red or a card reader). This phone only has Bluetooth for headset or car kit profile.
It will not play MP3 ringtones (NEITHER DOES THE NOKIA 6230)

does it play mp3 ringtones or what ?

i know this question has been asked before but alot of people are commenting without knowing the truth, that hungarian test said something about ringtones in mp3 ....so please, what's up ?

Also if someone mentions he and not she, deal with it, some of you that have been typing in this forum sound like little children, so relax, this is for informative purposes only, no?

just found this wiked thing with ringtones and stuff, you can get the light to flash different colours (disco mode), in time with the ringtone, and it vibrates with the beat!!! Don't know if it works with mp3s or downloaded ringtones but if it does it'll be bad-ass.

One other thing, no infa-red or bluetooth link to other phones, which is a bit gay.

I have this phone. I havent tried any other Sharp gx's, but camera is really good. Just a little tricky to focus.
But video camera is crappy, it's in gp4 format (whatever that is), not mp4. You can record for very long though.

Problem with photos is that they take long to load up. But it has a good editor thing like you can get on your PC for effects etc.
The phone is big, but quite light. One of the biggest clamshells.

I really would like to buy this phone. How much is it SIM-FREE/ UNLOCKED? Is it possible to have it shipped to the Philippines? :) Thank You!

Can someone tell the right especifications for this phone? because some tell that don't have mp3 ringtones but the Features tell that it has and about the alarm, etc etc. If someone has the manual the better and send me to my mail please. Many thanks.
