i love this phone.it's true that the battery sucks, but the phone looks good(i have cv65).

The only way is to transfer the files in amr format (but it doesn´t sounds good) or wav (but wav files needs more space even than mp3)

This phone can´t play mp3 nor .3gp
Those files aren´t supported.
And I´m so sure because I had this phone since February 2005, on December I bought a Nokia 6230 and used both phones. I tried to transfer mp3 files and .3gp videos from 6230 to C65 trough IR and never worked.
But in July 2006 I sold my C65 to keep only the 6230.
C65 is a good phone except for camera. For the guy asking for better camera performance: You can´t improve your photos. Isn´t a good camera.
But come on, anyway is a very good phone and what can you expect for a low end phone??
The only problem I had is that my battery cover broke after a year of use. But I bought a new original cover and was really cheap.

if you mean turn off the shutter sound, maybe setting the phone on silent helps

I used this phone for 2 years and it served me well. Had common problems like it shutting off and freezing, but for a cheap phone with a camera, what do you expect. I have just bought a Sony Ericsson z710i and i love it. My problem now is that i want to get pics off my C65 and onto a computer but i don't have a data cable, and don't have the original software (that might have come with the phone, i can't remember) so I'm going to try to use the Infrared port between the phone and my laptop. does anyone know where i might find the software to do this?

Indeed, a short life for battery, and only 2 to 4 standby days.
