can any one tell about the ringtonez are they loud ... can we compare them with sonyericsson Z600 are there tribel or only base like simens A60
To Steve: I don't have any problems with calling. The sound quality is ok for me, no problems (but I don't call very much...). The over-all soundquality is good. Polyphonic ringtones and recorded sounds are represented fine.
Thanks very much Matti, I just meant, is it good at sound quality, and does it break down?
To matti: That's one more (phone user)who like to waste money by his/her own fault
I quote one more time:
I don't understand why people buy the phones first and then complain that there is no night modus or something else what they want the phone should do while there are plenty of (technical) information about the phone.
- they can't read and can't compare other phones
- they like to buy phones that are not in line with their needs and then complain about it
- they like to waste money
To Phone Users: check the last messages pls, we've already had it a few times about nightmode + flash + digital camera and their relation with the price(!)...
To Steve: I don't exactly know what you understand about "a day to day phone", but I can say the phone does its job very well. :-)
Not worth to buy! Not up to standard!
No Night Mode for camera! Shocking to me!
No Resale Values! No responses for my ad!
Finally sold at a big loss, bye Siemens!
What's this phone like as a day to day phone?
OK! thanks Steve.
This phone do not have radio, mp3 and bluetooth. Compare to other phone at the same range, is it worth to buy???
You can send the pics to your e-mail address if you don't mind paying 30p or something.. It's cheaper in the long run to get a cable or bluetooth. The pictures from the camera are really great quality! I've made up my mind, I'm getting this phone! :P
Allright! thanks Chng and Matti.
To Mio: 'firmware' is the systemsoftware (operating system) your mobile phone is running. With a serial cable (made by Siemens) you can upgrade your Siemens-phone to a newer firmware; it is with fixed bugs and a little(!) more features. Take a look at www.siemens-mobile.com for more imformation about the firmware v8 for the CX65 if you want to.
Send pictures by infrared or by using data cable.
I have two questions. Is it possible to send pictures to computer?(I really want to know that)And what is firmware!?
could someone help!
For pics: http://www.mobilmania.cz/Mobilnitelefony/Ar.asp?ARI=107269&CHID=6&EXPS=&EXPA=
(look out for spaces when you copy/paste the url!). It can take a few seconds before all pics are loaded.
Cool, thanks mate! Has anyone uploaded some of their pics from this camera?
To Morter: it's possible to set the volume of the ringtones higher, but I think there's a bug in firmware 2 with that --> when I raise the volume, it doesn't have any effect (only in preview) :-s But if it works with newer firmware, the ringtones can damage your ears I think. ;-)
Your right about the movie, 11s is not long. Actually I don't use it. Maybe longer videotimes are possible with newer (again) firmware, don't know...
To Steve: the camera is very good, nice pics (for mobile phone!) at 640x480 max. You can zoom 5x (digital) and adjust the lightness. The video is at screen-resolution, but only for 11s...
The TFT screen is very nice: big, colourfull (65536 colours), good contrast --> no negative comments for me.
At the Carphone Warehouse (a place where you can get phones in england) they are selling the phone with an atatchable flash, so that might be an option... Could someone answer my question below if they have time? It would really help :)
it'impossible to remove the sound of the camera (that is obligatory for all recent phones)
i am making my mind again :) just curious about its ringtones too, are these loud enough to hear while keeping in a pant pocked? or should we depend upon the vibrater like its other models C55, M55 etc?
also, the movie, only 10 seconds maximum :( what was the need to include it? its like human animation. anyway, keeping price in mind, it is good :)
