Used this phone before.
Simply one of the best phone i've ever had.
Very robust and i like the design, so fresh at that time.
So pity that i've lost the phone...
joel, 13 Jul 2009does any one of you here still have the phone in working condition? I really loved this phone ... moreIn indonesia, there is someone who is selling old phones like M35i. It will be sold in 400 thousand rupiah(400rb rupiah). So?
does any one of you here still have the phone in working condition? I really loved this phone before but I wasn't able to get one.. :(
This phone was my first phone bought in 2001/2002.
It was really tough.
At this time, its size was really big.
JANE, 22 Jan 2009can someone help, i have this phone never used before and when i started using it the battery... moremost of m35 problems were due to an IC called PA (power amplifier)..and that requires soldering skills I think..
But it can be because of the battery too..
JANE, 22 Jan 2009can someone help, i have this phone never used before and when i started using it the battery... moreIt's due to the age of the battery most likely. Handsets of this age ARE likely to have faulty batteries or are on thier way to thier last breath, it's best you get a replacement battery for as cheap as $1 or whatever currency you use, they are very cheap. Try Ebay UK or EBAY.com wherever you are based. Becausesiemens don' exist anymore, you'll find it hard to get support so yes, try ebay, they normally advertise batteries as but it now prices and make sure it's not dodgy batteries made in China or somewhere else. Make sure it is made in Finland or up to EU standards.
can someone help, i have this phone never used before and when i started using it the battery inspite of being fully charged, the moment you receive one call, the mobile beeps, battery needs to be charged. can someone help.
Sonim XP3 is the successor of the cult M35i. See: http://www.sonimxp3.com/
Backpannel on my Siemens m35i destroyed. I don't understand. I lost her.
I'm so sad: rubber on back pannel on my mobile disintegrate, disintegrate. Cant find more blue pannel.
I love my Siemens m35i very much. That mobile telephone, namely mobile telephone - my dream, what becomes true. True white dream, in Russia speaking ''blue dream''.
For me it piece of art, not firstly phone.
fv, 30 Jul 2007It was the most crap phone I've had. Already after half a year the battery would run out of po... morethat is problem of SO/Hardware,a reflash would turn it good again,if it is hardware it is only a small piece that need to be replaced..it is called pa.
I have one with that problem too,I am going to flash it to the latest firmware to see if it solves.
Anyone knows if the latest ones can send more than 1sms (more than 160chararacters).
I've had one since 2000, use it when I'm in Europe (summers). Just dropped it out a fifth-floor window. Blew into 8 pieces, but when reassembled, it worked again. Not reliably, but still, incredible. I'll buy a used one to replace it.
Despite it's size, this is a very robust phone and has security features I haven't seen on anything else. Babysitter function is brilliant for children - only let's them call pre-programmed numbers.
Still going on the original battery after 7 years, although recharge times are getting a bit frequent.
I got this cellphone from my father (bought at 2000)... it is strong as rock! I still use it until now. However, the battery is difficult to find now. I hope this cellphone live forever...
I have this phone since 2002 and I am very happy with it. If it goes wrong I would like to buy a new one of the same type. Please do not stop its production. I like its rubber coating which is very practical.
