I want to appreciate the siemense company that i found this handset very useful and beautifull and valueable coz i did not seen any kind of Message memory in low categories cell phone (mean cheap cell phones) that have alot of sms memory i hope that company itself don have any information that this cell phone can store 2000 sms i practised it and have experienced this thats why i love this cell phone Thank you
I got my M55 in December 2003. This phone is everlasting. Still runs on original battery. Even 4,5 years later, I can talk up to 1hr without having to charge it. I have dropped it 4 or 5 times and since about 2 months ago the vibrator started acting up but we'll say it's my fault. I am very pleased with this phone and would definitely buy another Siemens phone if they were in business. Does anyone know if this BenQ-Siemens phones are as strong as good old Siemens ones?
Hi all! i bought this phone a 4 year ago and works corecly. For me is the best cell ever, because for my work it`s very good and usefull! My M55 still working pefectly withouth problems! Thans for Siemens!!! By.
Unfortunately it broke down after 4 years. But I had been very pleasent with my phone.
Thanks to Siemens.
I toasted the phone literally with a short circuit in the usb cable. even smoke appeared . it only destroyed the microphone circuit on the mainboard. the principal function is ruined , but the phone still works on the other functions.
A great phone. I've bought it almost 4 years ago and still performs nice, despite the hard conditions where I use it. I have it with my in mountains, in very cold weather, heavy rains and very hot days - the battery still last 5 days idle and maybe 2,5 hours talking. Compact, resistant, reliable and a nice design.
I'm thinking at a new phone, but I'll surely keep my M55 too, as a 2nd phone.
Hi all! This is indeed for me a great fone. However, I bought a new unit since the battery is giving up on me (its already 4yrs old) and the reception's not as good as before. But I'll still keep it as secondary fone. Anyway, I have a query. Does anyone here know how I can transfer my messages from the phone memory to my SIM? I can't access my old messages from my new unit. Help please :)
Great phone! Rock solid, small and lightweight. I bought it years ago and still use as a secondary phone. Firmware modifications (patches) add almost limitless possibilities. Mine M55 has big digital clock when keyboard is locked, advanced netmonitor, some additional indicators (temperature, signal strength), custom vibra modes like on C55, expanded to 3.2 Mb storage space, custom icons, font and many more little mods. The battery is still original and works several days (secondary phone, remember?).
I had this phone for 4 years, I have been using it until it fell apart because it was great and I simply didn t want to replace it, now I have samsung C130 which is also great, but I still keep my cute siemens just for memory, I can t sell it!
I got this almighty fone for some time; then bought M65, AX72, C75 and nowadays I'm about to buy another M55!..! ;)
