I've got this phone for 1 year and I do'nt like it. Dust between the screen and
I dropped the phone once and it got dammaged (and before I had a Nokia and that was more drop proof) The sofware isn't stabile as well .No more siemens for me!
Very happy, I have had this phone for over a year and have had no problems. Highly recommended.
I recently got one and have nothing to complain. Awesome design, good camera, the interface isn´t complicated and it seems very resistant.
i love seimens m65!! ill gonna get one!! heard lots of negative commments but still ill gonna go and get one!! too bad i have not bought the me45 and m55 since they are not available in our place!! but ill gonna get this baby!! for me seimens make the greatest phone and the most sturdy phones in the market!! where can you see a phone that can take such abuse like i do to my c62? i throw it!! i drop it like afew times and still survives!! i wont dare do it on my nokias and sony!! also i like the m35 before. it was hardcore!! it goes from a phone to a ballistic missile and yet survive!! you cant do that to other phones!! thats why for me its siemens all the way!! just wish that seimens will make a m series with the whole shebang. mp3, mmc.......... the works!! then that would be the phones of all phone also long batt life!! i think this the flaw with siemens there batt life its just too short!! they say its 55hrs talk time then when actual use its only 5 hrs talk time!! also said standby time is 300hrs and its only good for 2 days!! but still seimens rocks!!!
hey dont buy this phone atall.I dont want this phone's unique design to get common.Pls dont buyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

This is a great phone for it's price. I didn't have problems with it.
It has USB and irda connectivity
The battery lasts about 3 days
P.S. If don't know anything about phones or especially this phone don't post u'r opion

gr8 mobile,gr8 resistance at falls, nice look and the black-one is suuuper...
yah, a nice phone. contains a lot of important, useful n interestin features. nice design. this ph is quite handy. u'll find it better if u compare this ph with others of same price
i have never seen such a gr8 mobile than m65 it looks cooland stylish from outside
Well, i've drowned it in coke and freezed it accidently, and it still works, i got gps on it and have bike mounting...LOVE IT!
Really like this phone... however really hope Siemens/ Benq will consider positioning ring tone speaker away from the receiver speaker for all their future models (where you place ear near the phone to listen to opposite party speak).... I nearly gone deaf for a couple of times...
fine cell-phone. siemens must develop another model with extra memory slot, which may run along with m65.
Hi,i've had this phone for 1 year and i think it's OK.
BAD BAD Phone
Battery life to short 3 days max with very lighht use.
Software is not very intuative. anyways here is my story:
I live in Perth, western Australia, I bought my Siemens M65 at Singapore duty free airport , Within a month It started turning itself off so I logged a call with Siemens who said, I would have to send it to Singapore for repair, I had to explain that this is ridiculas, the phone is a month old and I live in Perth, if they do not support equipment bought at a duty free shop then they should not be allowing their equipment to be sold in them, anyways finally they allowed me to send my phone to a authorised repairer in Perth who had to send it to Sydney, after 4 weeks I got the phone back, straight away the signal was really bad and within a few days the phone started turning itself off again, rang repair shop they again sent it to Sydney 7 weeks later phone comes back, this time within a day, the phone turns itself off and won’t turn back on, I ring Siemens who say this time they will check that the phone has been repaired correctly.
This brings u up to date and I am about to go and get my phone repaired for the 3rd time, the phone has been with Siemens getting repaired longer than its been with me working. Yeah this phone is real rugged!.
Some additional points
The battery life is actually around 2 days with a max of 3 days if u do not use it.
The M65 is not always an M65, the M65 they sell in Singapore are actually cheaper models called M6C and M6V. The phone looks like an M65 and is badged as an M65 but once you check the product number using their software tool it tells u its different. When you go to there website for firmware updates it even asked you which Product you have. The choices are M65 M6V and M6C. How bad it that! you think your buying a M65 but your not, well you might be, you actually wont know until you open the box and check the product code hidden in the software.
I checked with the service centre and apparently a lot of companies do this, but Nokia and Sony/Ericson do not and that is why they can; and do provide international warranties, because they know that if one of there phones has a problem the same parts and software are contained within the phone, so any service centre will be able to fix it.
haha nice comment Jeff, i would love to have this phone but it doesnt have bluetooth or expandable memory so it out of the question :(
Hi, I'm Jeff from Indonesia, I've been using M65 for 1 yr. I'm a continuous users of M series (started from M35). From my experience as oil worker, this piece of craft is really something. For me it's not just shock proven, but "bang" proven. I've count 2 times it was slipped from my hand, fall from helideck to lowerdeck (about 7m) at my rig, and it still breath and sound :-D. Other phones might have been scattered :-)). I dont really care about MP3, bluetooth, etc. The only problem for me now,... I don't have enough reason to change to M75 :-)) I want to find the way how to properly make this M65 broken ^_^
and here's another one.
here is a link of the photo taken from my M65.
how did i transfer it from the phone to my pc?
I just use the IrDA port.
