If u want to play songs in your s65 than just convert mp3 into wav and donload the soxgui software available in siemensplanet& siemensbest website that convert the wav into the playble format of s65 and the sound is good enough.

siemens has corected the major bugs

I can not understand something obout this phone. In your side I read that it has not mp3 player, but in Bulgarian side I read it has it. So what is right, has this pnone mp3 player or not? Please wright me.
I love this phone because of its design! I wonder if i can somehow install symbian on it???
Use GOLD WAVE program to compress *.mp3 to WAV IMA ADPCM format- 22.050kHz, 4bit, mono.
MP3 song 4:14sec =3,9 MB and Wav 4:14sec =2,7 MB, there is no diferent in quality!
Note: Wav PCM need more memory than WAV IMA ADPCM
End of story
This is the 4th Siemens that I have had .
I must say that I am very Dissapointed with it.my last phone the s55 although the camera was pooor it did have Voice activation (a real boon ) .I am surprised that such a high spec phone does not have this also it is quite heavy and as other owners have mentioned it is heavy on Battery usage .it is still in the original box in mmy loft and I have reverted to using my s55
I have had it for three months now and it sucks, its display is great features good but the games slow. Siemens should do better.
hi can anybody help me know how to use siemans s65 as webcam and also after putting software also my computer is not opening the video files
It has the weakest display I have ev er seen!
An advice for all who want to buy this phone:
PLEASE LOOK FOR ANOTHER PHONE!
I have had this fone but Im glas I got rid of it. I think as every other siemens this fone is justa piece of sh*t. The camera i crap and it suppose to be 1 megapixel!! this camera is worst than my old 7600 that I had! I will send you pics from it if you want....the melodies are quite crap too no MP3!!! and it is suppose to be business class phone it has got memory slot but what it is for if there is no mp3! just these crap pictures..the video is bad too...much worst then 7600 there is no point comparing it to 6630 for example....now the screen...this is the worst 65k screen i have ever seen..!! the menu is crap why did they try to make it look like black and white it does not look good at all..! not good contrast just plain bright...
I think it is a very good phone-the camera is gr8, the calender also. The battery life is quite bad but still if you don't talk a lot and if you don't play games on it all the time it you'll need to recharge it every 2-3 days which is not that bad because the large display uses up a lot of the battery.
i jus have the fone for a week noe and was wondering if theres a flash for it...can any1 tell if there is one and where in australia would i find one?
S65 is a good mobile.It's colors are perfect.It's display is good.Camera is excillent.Design is beautyfull.Best thing is it's got a RS-MMC slot.
Many people say that it crashes and has other probs. I have just bought one and it works nice. Seems that most of the annoying bugs have been corrected since, because I haven't noticed any.
I have sw version 41. As far as I know, the first public sw version was 11 or so. Most of the reviews you can find were written late back when the phone appeared, and the first versions of the sw were problematic. But now it has no such problems, and it really has many useful features, like showing thumbnailes of images when looking around on the card/internal memory.
And a note about RS-MMC. As you know, it is half the size of a normal MMC card, but has exactly the same connectors, so you can put it in a normal MMC slot if you have a converter that makes the RS card larger.
But! You can put a normal sized MMC card into the phone and use it! half of it will be outside, so don't keep it like this in your pocket, but it can come handy for making a few more photos or copying some stuff over with bluetooth.
I advise against everyday use of this "feature" but sometimes it's useful, and in my opinion, very funny.
