did u guys know there is a new firmware update?Version 12.After Using Sx1 for quite some time,i find its performance not that good.:(.But i still love the features in the phone.:D

I dnt think you can have MP3 ringtones for Siemens SX1, but i read somewhere that you can have WAV files as ringtones

I am 100% agree with you Deddy.
The Screen Color, and the Internet Access (I use Opera browser alot), the price, is better on N6600.
The only thing I like in SX1 is the physical form.
That's why I made decision to by SX1 that now I regret badly.

I really impressed with this SX1 before i read an article that says nokia 6600 is better. I read along then I agree, SX1 is not good as it should be, 6600 still the winner

In the software upgrade mode, when I connect the phone to my pc, it ask for a USB Driver, so where can I find this driver?

For its design & O/S, it's a great phone.
But I have a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with that F**KING SX1 PHONE !!
I bought in Feb'04, spend US$618.
After a week, it display "System Error", and sometimes restart (reboot).
The restart frequency then became more often.
April'04, my SX1 become useless because, at start-up, it sounds a beep, and automatically turned off.
I sent to the Authorized Distributor in Jakarta (PT. DianGraha Elektrika).
They upgrade the software (O/S), and replace the warranty sticker on the back.
It solved the problem, but the color of LCD is not as good as before.
And all of my precious data inside SX1 was LOST !!!
2 weeks later, the same problem happened again.
It sometime restart when I use SMS, MMS, open Contacs, or making a call.
The "restart" become more often, and in 23May'04, it become "infinite loop of restart".
I again sent the phone for service.
And now, in this weekend, the SX1 already 2 weeks "death".
I don't know when the SX1 will return to me.
I will sell that FU*KING SX1, and buy another else, but Siemens.
Any body want to buy it for US$100 ?

I like the keypad, but it will be hard to use! I heard theres a programme to help u to get used to the keypad...cool

At last, i sold my xSiemens SX1 and bought a Nokia 6230. I have now a normal phone with everything i need in it.
