Snapchat is the latest service to offer a paid premium tier in its lineup. Snapchat+ is a $3.99/month subscription service that adds several new features including the option to see who has rewatched your stories and the ability to change the app’s icon.

Snapchat+ announced for $3.99/month

The press release also mentions Snapchat+ will offer a “collection of exclusive, experimental and pre-release features” including the option to pin a friend as your BFF inside the chat section. Sadly, paid users will not have the option to turn off ads in the app.

Snapchat+ will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates at launch with more countries set to follow in the coming months.
