I run a small company and require access to my phone and emails whilst out on site. I am currently working my way through Blackberrys like they are going out of fashion and have decided that I need to find a more suitable alternative.
The main things I need are pop3 email access, long lasting battery, web access and the ability to be dropped and bashed about!
Is this the phone for me...? and if not, can anyone recommend a suitable alternative.
on my 2nd one of these always freezing and not working don't get one these are crap

I own a sonim XP3 and let me tell you that if you’re looking for a tough, all weather phone. This is the one. It is a very simple phone without sophisticated futures but instead it has a long life battery ( maybe the longest life battery ever).
If you want to surf on the internet, read MS office documents or else.. then you should better think in buying an HTC phone

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2010PR fault. Hilarious. He didn't actually break the phone, just cracked the screen. You can clearly see that calls could still be made. So the phone was definetly damaged but not "broken"
Erik, 26 Oct 2009I've had my quest now for 3 months. There is something wrong with it, as it has started to eat... moreHad the same problem untill I turned off the GPS. You can't see from the front page that it is turned on - so go check it.
Just bought one of these phones after reading up on it and i cant even switch on the GPS!!!...the only option in tools is something call AGPS and when i go into that it only says always, never and while not roaming. i thought there is supposed to be an on off switch. even if you dont use the Java app its supposed to give you a position. anyone help, trying to get the Internet working is another story.
