Rajesh, 09 Jan 2011Though Internet explorer included with Aspen works great, I tried Opera Mobile 10 and must say... morerajesh, just got this set. gud indeed! but calls getting disconnected frequently. also, new panels not available now. SE says playnow not avlbl now for this device. any suggestion?
i will tell you not to buy aspen mobile because i bought aspen mobile in september end and now it is january it is hanged many times. too much phone is hanged please please don't buy
otherwise if it is ok the phone
Though Internet explorer included with Aspen works great, I tried Opera Mobile 10 and must say everyone who uses Aspen should use Opera 10 and experience the full fledged desktop browser on a tiny screen of Aspen. As the days pass by I am getting more and more addicted to Aspen and with no doubt can say its better than BB 9700 and Nokia E72 as it has a touch screen with Qwerty which makes if easier and faster to use. What else do you want if this marvel costs nothing to own it in comparision to famous but useless devices available in the market and mobile lovers going gaga over them for nothing but the name. Aspen wins...wins...wins.

It is weird that there are many basher as well as fans of this phone...
Btw, the review by gsm arena seems to show a dismay frequency response of the audio... does it reflect on human ears?
Thanks a lot

Alex, 08 Jan 2011Hi all, i have some questions regarding this phone. Can i get the default winmo 6.5.3 inter... moreYes, you can complicate UI for your own needs. In two UI panels it is possible better. In my Aspen that panels looking amazingly - "professional" (+ 2 or + 4 panels) for work, and "lifestyle" (+ 2 or + 4 panels) by-work. I am not using another panels in my Aspen. In "lifestyle" panel you can set own wallpaper. Widgets have five skin-size.
I've ben usin this fone since 5 mnths now & learnt that it is just a fone... in the strictest sense i can say that it is a good fone eith 3g, wifi, win OS 6.5 & fast gprs. thats it. I would like to consider this as a begining for SE to this range of fones rather than a competitor to NOKIA E71, 72 & other similar ones.. but not an ideal choice to purchase.. better go for a BlackBerry or HTC Snap.
I had a sony ericsson phone and now i bought a new nokia phone so i was wondering if i can move/copy the msgs found in the sony ericsson to the nokia phone

Aspen, I can claim that even Microsoft will be proud to see how Windows Mobile can look so great on a handset if they use Aspen. I have not seen it happen earlier on my previous handsets like HP, Samsung i780, B7320, B 6520 Omnia Pro, HTC Snap or even full touch mobiles like HTC Touch, Touch 2, O2 Flame, O2 Stealth, Sony Ericsson X1. Aspen is definitely special...special...special. It wins all in all departments like, Screen clarity (not in sunlight), Ergonomics of Keyboard, Battery Life, Connectivity and Signal for normal calls, productivity tools, great power shell themes and above all stability. But camera could have been better like on P1i. Aspen is still a winner. See you...

thanks in advance
It has been a week with Aspen and while using it I have been thinking what has Aspen done wrong to be put away in dark zone where nobody knows it. Its made of plastic but has a much solid feel than Nokia E72 or BB 9700 (metal frame and design) as I have used both these handsets and back cover shake giving them very uneasy feel. Aspen has touch screen which enables you to point and touch on any link or shortcut to open it. Whereas our other 2 heros make you slog with your finger to reach the aim. Battery life on Aspen is superb. Signal is excellent and in areas of low network zone Aspen excels like a pro. Except for camera other other hardware is outstanding as I explained in my last review. I like Aspen and since I have used many brands and models which includes Symbian, Windows mobile, android and Java and many types like Qwerty, Qwerty + Touch, Touch and basic keypad java phones, I sincerely feel Aspen is a very very good handset. Will be in touch...
