mk, 01 Jul 2009neither, if you can give a little more money, buy some nokia model. (symbian)nokia cannot match se's music quality.Nokia's are realy crap.Nokia sucks
I'm utterly disappointed with the camera performance. I could go on complaining about it but that would get me nowhere. If only Samsung's or LG's UI is as good as SE's, I won't hesitate ditching this phone. I'm selling this two/three months from now.
inorder to extend or maximise the battery, one should go through at least five charge cycles where you charge it to its max and drain it till it dies out and shuts off.
this has helped gain most out of all the phone batteries i have used
linda, 01 Jul 2009please help me to choose. c510 or the w715.neither, if you can give a little more money, buy some nokia model. (symbian)
Just had another problem with mine, finished sending a text, looked at the screen and the standby screen had gone split screen with the same standy screen showing narrowed on the top and repeated on the bottom. Any ideas what caused this? Turned it off/on and ok after that.
Just got this phone, like, three days ago, and I'm still smitten with its design, LoL
Can't say much 'bout the spec though, since I haven't done much with it. I'd just like to thrown in my two cents regarding the battery: the first two days, I kind of abused it A LOT, to the point it over-heated for several times, but it still held for TWO days. I'm no expert in such stuff, but IMO, that's good. Usually I don't abuse my phone that much, so let's see how it'll hold up then. ;)
Thinking of getting the 4gb memory stick. Should I get it, or play safe with 2gb? Thx before!
im thinking of buying this phone but not quite sure wther or not this is the kind that i want.
the features are cool, but is the stereo loud enough?
P, 30 Jun 2009Haven't had that problem with the music player but agree that the battery is very poor, and it... moreI would not exactly call it a lousy phone. :-). It's just that it fails to deliver what it promises. I would have rate this phone 10 out of 10 if:
- no lags (reading m2 card)
- better battery life
- no annoying pauses during music playback (all m4a format)
- camera produces better images
- display is really scratch-resistant (mine scratches easily)
- recognizes two or more audio books
- and the list goes on. Some minor others didn't even notice (like the Queue function in the music player)
select the contact number, then press C key.
that should delete it.
raskal, 30 Jun 2009Does anybody know how to remove or delete the saved numbers on the message recipient that appe... moreHa-ha I know what you mean! Go to type a new message and when you reach the Add Recipient part just scroll down to the one(s) you want to delete and hit the cancel button, this will then prompt you Delete from List?
Cyber-shot under dog, 29 Jun 2009he may be dead, but still he is legendary.K800 is also phased out but still legendary.really good phone.... NHTK.....
Does anybody know how to remove or delete the saved numbers on the message recipient that appears when sending SMS? I already deleted all my contacts in phone and SIM and also master reset the phone but still it is showing the numbers of the last 3 sent SMS. I'm worried my wife would find out my GF's number. hehe!
Sal, 30 Jun 2009Yes P The volume rocker buttons do display the sleep mode clock but do remember the older pho... moreYes I think I remember that from the W810 and the K800. Thing is the battery life isn't any better, its worse! I keep hoping SE put a decent phone out but no luck so far. Might have to head over to Samsung soon :-(
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2009Agree. If Sony Ericsson don't solve this "lagging' problem, this will be my last Sony Ericsson ... moreHaven't had that problem with the music player but agree that the battery is very poor, and it used to be the strong point with SE! The camera is poor too. The 3.2 camera on the old K800 and K810 was much better than what they've put in this lousy phone.
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2009Please tell us if the phone opens the file manager as fast without the m2 card in it.It doesn't have difference, with or without the memory card, opening the file manager takes the same time. But only 1GB is filled, maybe when I fill the card, it will take more time to open, I haven't tried.
