Does anybody know how to remove or delete the saved numbers on the message recipient that appears when sending SMS? I already deleted all my contacts in phone and SIM and also master reset the phone but still it is showing the numbers of the last 3 sent SMS. I'm worried my wife would find out my GF's number. hehe!

Thing is the battery life isn't any better, its worse! I keep hoping SE put a decent phone out but no luck so far. Might have to head over to Samsung soon :-(
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2009Agree. If Sony Ericsson don't solve this "lagging' problem, this will be my last Sony Ericsson ... moreHaven't had that problem with the music player but agree that the battery is very poor, and it used to be the strong point with SE! The camera is poor too. The 3.2 camera on the old K800 and K810 was much better than what they've put in this lousy phone.
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2009Please tell us if the phone opens the file manager as fast without the m2 card in it.It doesn't have difference, with or without the memory card, opening the file manager takes the same time. But only 1GB is filled, maybe when I fill the card, it will take more time to open, I haven't tried.
mk, 29 Jun 2009i am using 4gb card and i do not have problems, although it is not full. Please tell us if the phone opens the file manager as fast without the m2 card in it.
And I threw away the headset that comes bundled on this phone. It was a piece of crap. A cheap china-made headset produces sound better than that one. What's going on SE?
P, 30 Jun 2009I've only got a 1gb card in and still get lag. Did a software update and it made no difference... moreAgree. If Sony Ericsson don't solve this "lagging' problem, this will be my last Sony Ericsson phone. One more thing, when i'm listening to music, the player pauses once or twice for a second or two on every track i played. It's very irritating. It always gives me a false alarm of an incoming call or text. And the battery, not good. I have to charge it everyday.
P, 29 Jun 2009I agree with you, I've got the C510 and its a bit of a joke phone, but in general I think SE a... moreYes P
The volume rocker buttons do display the sleep mode clock but do remember the older phones used to display the sleep mode clock as a sleep screensaver so you wouldn't have to press a thing. Much easier to quick glance and see if you had any missed calls or sms's. Pity they've discarded this feature ostensibly to save batter life. What will be next? The screen?

Ive just seen pics taken with c510 on the net. The pics are so nice which exasperated me more. I've been asking myself how come my c510 don't take pics as good as those posted on the net? Mine got the latest FW using SEUS. Plenty of theories has been floating in my head trying to find an explanation. One is: Is SE using different components for different markets? You know, trying to cut costs. I always uploaded my pics to my computer, and the pics don't looked that good. I'm not impressed.
The response from the accelerometer sensor is not as responsive as iPod. When rotate the phone there's 1-2 seconds delay compared to iPods where there is no delay at all
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2009For those who are using a 4gb card, any problems? Does your phone lagged? Mine did. The phone ... moreI'm using 4gb in my C510 so far there is no problem nor delay. Maybe it's just me but the phone responds faster after i put in the new 4gb M2 compared to my 2 years old 512mb M2. My 4gb is not full though.
mk, 29 Jun 2009i am using 4gb card and i do not have problems, although it is not full.No lags at all? When i open the file manager, it takes about two to three seconds to load. It's quite annoying. My g502 got no problems handling that 4 gb card.

When in standby mode if you press either of the volume rocker keys doesn't the clock show up then? should do.
I had originally bought the C510 but was thoroughly disappointed with build quality, voice clarity and sound. The C510 may pack in a lot of features for the price but it is a sub-standard phone that feels cheap. I exchanged it for the T700. This phone has amazing build quality, feels good in your hand with its silver and polished-textured black finish. Voice clarity is amazing, the camera is decent, the feel of the phone is solid and richer than it's slightly higher price tag than the C510.
It's sad the T-series has been relatively ignored. Sony Ericsson's standards with the C- and W-series are gradually slipping. The T700 was the only other new SE phone I liked. Except for one or two little things like no sleep mode clock, the T700 is simply brilliant. Battery is good and the locking mechanism to remove the battery cover is so superb it makes the C510's rip off cover look like a cheapy Chinese-made toy that's been recalled for being a child hazard.
cyber-shot under dog, 28 Jun 2009No it'll stay as SMSbut it really display as MMS o
For those who are using a 4gb card, any problems? Does your phone lagged? Mine did. The phone reads the card too slow. Thanks.
